Weather talent drought.

Our agriculture sector needs a great meteorologist. One of the farmers has to take the discipline of the Weather. Or a separate NGO should be established for climate education. This is a very interesting subject without which future generations of farmers will not survive. The main observatory of Indian Meteorological Department known as IMD is located in Pune. But its headquarters is at New Delhi. This is an Indian Meteorological Institute established in 1875. Although this institution was also affected by corruption, its predictions are now systematic after punishing the offenders. After collecting crores of rupees from the seed companies, the meteorologists of this government organization ran such gossip that the farmers of Maharashtra had to buy seeds thrice and sow repeatedly. No one would have imagined that such a scam could happen in the country's highest weather organization

Known as the Indian Materialological Department, it is considered one of the oldest institutions in this Field in the world. Initially, this organization centralized the work of observatories working on weather. It is the premier government body in all matters related to weather, seismology and meteorology. 561 ground-based, 217 agro-meteorological, 63 pilot-balloon (for wind conditions up to 20 km), 35 radio wind (pressure temperature, humidity and winds) covering the entire country from east-west and north-south to obtain weather observations. A coordinated network of 45 radiation and 7 ozone stations and 63 seismic observatories has been set up to monitor the situation up to 20-30 km altitude.

People make fun of weather forecast when it doesn't come true, but the fact is that the forecast is released after a lot of research and a lot of technological tools and scientific manpower. When the wind suddenly changes direction, the forecast may not be correct because these entities are not above nature. A number of IMD stations from all over the country are reporting to the Delhi headquarters at least twice a day.

For some time now, politicians have been defining the definition of patriotism in our country. In fact, it is the work of the education sector of the country. It is patriotism that every person works with full devotion in his field. We have an outpouring of patriotism there on Independence Day and Republic Day, but after those days, patriotism is forgotten. Where to source talent in a field like weather? Skymet is a private weather company in India and there are more companies to come in the field but there will be a dearth of talent in this field because our educational systems are not giving students a life dedicated to learning. EV stands for Electric Vehicle is a new world that is rapidly taking shape around us. Many automobile companies from home and abroad are now wandering in engineering institutes across India.

Being a completely new technology, it has formed a new confluence of automobile engineering and electrical engineering. Auto companies scout for talent by conducting campus placement tours. After selection the company itself has to provide special training. But these companies are finding the work to be as difficult as raising the water of the Neva. The new generation of engineers lacks the zest, creativity and creative flair for innovation that should be there. At first glance, the new generation wants an AC office with a table chair which they now call a job. Whereas job is our ability to create a whole new world from the opportunity we get. They may be willing to suffer but are not willing to work methodically. If this situation continues then specialized disciplines like EV or Meteorology will be fine, even in general fields there will be a shortage of talent which early signs are showing now.
