Talking about Delhi: Depression in BJP due to crushing defeat in Ladakh elections

New Delhi: There is frustration in the BJP after the crushing defeat in the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Council elections. In the elections for 26 seats of the 30-member council, the BJP fielded 17 candidates but only two of its candidates have won. The National Conference and Congress alliance of the Abdullah family has managed to maintain its dominance and has won 22 out of 26 seats. The remaining two seats are won by independents while four members will be appointed by the lieutenant governor.

This was the first election to the council after the abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir, and the bifurcation of Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories. BJP hoped to gain power by abolishing Article 370, but that hope did not materialize. There was enthusiasm in the BJP after seeing long queues in the polls held on October 4, but this enthusiasm did not bear fruit. A huge voter turnout of 78 percent was recorded in the council elections.

Birla in BJP after ticket assurance in MP

Congress MLA in Madhya Pradesh, Sachin Birla, has vigorously campaigned that he has joined the BJP, but the reality of Birla has come to light. In fact, Birla had joined the BJP two years ago, i.e. in October 2021, but did not resign from the post of MLA. If he joins the BJP formally, the MLA post will go away, so he did not even become a primary member of the BJP. The Congress also refrained from suspending Birla so as not to pave the way for Birla to join the BJP.

Now with assembly elections coming, Birla has to formally join BJP so that BJP can give him ticket again. The BJP was in limbo on the issue of giving Birla a ticket as two-time MLA Hitendrasinh Solanki is a strong contender. After a long discussion, BJP assured the ticket to Birla Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan and State President V.D. Became a member of BJP in the presence of Sharma.

BJP in the field to take advantage of the Deoria scandal in UP

Political heat is rising over the killing of five people of a Brahmin family in Uttar Pradesh's Deoria. Samajwadi Party is active to take advantage of this incident but now BJP has also jumped in. SP is favoring them as they are the Yadavs who killed five members of the Dubey family in a land dispute. On the other hand, BJP leaders have jumped in to help the Dubey family, led by Shalabmani Tripathi, a member of the Legislative Council. Devesh, the son of Satyaprakash Dubey, is the only survivor of the Dubey family. BJP leaders are showering Devesh with financial help to gain the sympathy of Brahmins. It has also been announced to give a two-bedroom flat to Devesh.

The Yadav family, provoked by the killing of Prem Yadav in a land dispute in the Deoria incident, broke into Dubey's house and killed five members of the family. Devesh survived as he was out during the carnage.

Mahuano taunts the nun, there is no need for sinners in the country

Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and Mahua Moitra have come face to face on this issue when the Trinamool Congress has started a sit-in raising the issue of central government not paying money to the people working under MNREGA scheme. Trinamool Congress MP Mahua alleges that Sadhvi made the 40 MPs-MLAs wait for 3 hours and then left without meeting her through another door, even though she had given them time to meet her. If there are such nuns in the country, there is no need for sinners.

Sadhvi says that Mahua is lying. He himself waited for Mahua for two and a half hours but Mahua and the Trinamool leaders continued to play drama. At first there was talk of meeting five people but then gradually the number increased even though I showed my readiness to meet but only those people did not come to meet.

In Delhi, Congress will contest on 4 seats, AAP on 3 seats

There was resentment in the Punjab and Delhi Congress against the inclusion of the Aam Aadmi Party in the anti-BJP Front India, but the Congress leadership managed to overcome this resentment in Delhi. Delhi Pradesh Congress President Arvind Singh Lovely indicated that the attitude of Congress leaders towards AAP has softened and said that BJP leaders are making absurd statements because of the formation of India Front.

Sources say that Congressmen in Delhi are ready to work with AAP after being persuaded by the Congress High Command. According to sources, AAP is ready to give 4 out of seven seats of Delhi Lok Sabha to Congress, so the Congress leader is in a panic. Currently there is a discussion about who will contest on which seat but Congress wants four seats namely Chandni Chowk, East Delhi, New Delhi and North West.

Now fifty days of political excitement in five states

The Election Commission has announced the election schedule of five states and the countdown to the most important assembly elections before the Lok Sabha elections has begun. Following the announcement of the commission, on the one hand, the model code of conduct for elections has been implemented, on the other hand, political parties have also started running. Counting of votes will take place on December 3 in all the five states, but the last polling is scheduled to take place on November 30, so the next fifty days will be a political frenzy.

This election is important for BJP and Congress as there is a direct fight between BJP and Congress in three important states of the country, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. As Telangana is also important for Congress, this election is more important for Congress than for BJP. By winning one more southern state after Karnataka, the Congress is looking to get a booster dose ahead of the Lok Sabha polls.

Delhi Corporation corrects its spelling-error...!

A sign-board erected near the Embassy of Vietnam in Delhi's Chanakyapuri area to show citizens the way to the Singapore Embassy was mistakenly written as Singapore with the word "Singapore Hadal" and thus caused a lot of trouble. Dostidav also commented: Before setting up the sign board in public, if there is any spelling error, it must be checked. The New Delhi Municipal Corporation quickly echoed it and corrected the mistake. Wong then thanked the Municipal Corporation for the prompt remedial work.
