Talking about Delhi: Opposition in Congress itself against caste-based enumeration

NEW DELHI: With Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Khadge favoring caste-based census and stressing 'Jitni Abadi, Utna Haq', Madhya Pradesh Congress leaders have urged the high command not to favor the issue now. The reason for this is that 105 of the 230 seats in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly are dominated by upper castes. Out of these 60 seats are dominated by Brahmins and 45 seats by Thakurs. The proportion of Brahmin voters in Madhya Pradesh is more than 10 percent.

Congress fears that the favor of caste-based census will make it difficult for Congress to win these seats. A Congress leader from Madhya Pradesh believes that the reason why the BJP is silent on the issue of caste-based census is the fear of displeasure of the upper caste voters.

ED is confused about making 'Aap' an accused

The issue of making Aam Aadmi Party an accused in the Delhi Excise case has been filled after the Supreme Court. There is a fear that the case will get loose if you are made an accused. ED claims that the amount of Rs 100 crore received from the excise scam has been given to the Aam Aadmi Party. The Supreme Court took a look at this issue and asked that, if the amount is given to a political party, why is it not made an accused?

ED sources say that if you go to make Aam Aadmi Party an accused, it cannot be proved that the scam money has been given to you. Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh etc. have been arrested in this case but the evidence of taking money against them has not been presented yet. When the custody of those people is extended in the name of investigation, if you are made an accused, the condition of the ED will deteriorate.

Pawan ditches BJP, will support TDP

In Andhra Pradesh, BJP suffered a blow after Pawan Kalyan's Jan Sena withdrew from the NDA. Pawan Kalyan has tied up with Chandrababu Naidu's TDP. Pawan Kalyan has announced that we are withdrawing from NDA as it is our duty to support TDP when it is going through bad times.

According to sources, Pawan Kalyan has long been upset with the BJP's policy of having a foot in both milk and curd. On the one hand, BJP has allied with Pawan's party to get votes for itself in Angra Pradesh, but on the other hand, the BJP government is not ready to take a strong stand against Jagan Mohan Reddy. Pawan Kalyan raised objections against the lax attitude of the central agencies in the cases against Jagan Mohan Reddy, but after the BJP high command did not listen to him, Pawan finally snapped.

Siddaramaiah upset with Sivakumar's letter

Deputy Chief Minister in Karnataka D.K. Sivakumar has written a letter to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah asking him to withdraw criminal cases against 'innocent' people, which has created a furore in the Congress. Sivakumar could have asked Siddaramaiah to take a decision directly in the Cabinet but instead, he has infuriated Siddaramaiah's supporters by writing to Siddaramaiah. He believes that by writing a letter to Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar himself wants to show that he has left everyone. Shivakumar has also appealed to withdraw the cases of 2022 Hubli riots.

The BJP termed Shivkumar's letter as part of the Congress' policy of Muslim appeasement. The BJP says that the Congress government is withdrawing cases against people associated with banned fundamentalist organisations.

Sivakumar says, BJP did not appease when it withdrew 385 cases and removed 7361 people from rowdy-sheeter list in 2019?

Shivraj's card is expected to be completely cut off

In Madhya Pradesh BJP has not announced Shivraj Singh Chauhan as the chief ministerial candidate but his name is not even in the list of candidates released so far. The BJP has fielded leaders from Narendra Singh Tomar to Kailash Vijayvargiya but has not announced Chauhan's name. Because of this, Chauhan is said to be frustrated. Chauhan also fears that the BJP high command may change the seat to cut his ticket.

Chauhan's embarrassment was expressed in Wednesday's public meeting. He directly asked the people that should I contest the election or not? When the people cheered and answered yes, Shivraj asked another question that should I contest the election from here or not? People cheered again and answered yes. The BJP leader believes that Shivraj is indirectly creating pressure on the high command.

BJP upset with Patil's Pune handed over to Ajith

In Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar was made the minister-in-charge of Pune in BJP. Until now, BJP veteran Chandrakant Patil was the in-charge minister of Pune, but Eknath Shinde has removed him and made Ajit Pawar the in-charge minister. The Minister-in-charge has the authority to issue orders to the district head and other officers. Pune is the most important in Maharashtra after Mumbai and the same has been taken from BJP.

Attempts have been made to convince Patil by giving him the responsibility of two districts namely Solapur and Amravati, but the BJP leadership believes that Shinde has done wrong by taking Pune from BJP. Devendra Fadnavis's silence on this issue is also angered by the BJP leader. The BJP is also against the fact that seven of the nine ministers of the Ajit Pawar group were made in-charge. He feels that Shinde Pawar is giving too much importance to the group.

BJP's attempt to reach out to U-Tubers

BJP has started inviting YouTubers from across the country to its headquarters in New Delhi. A meeting of 200 such bloggers was held last week. YouTubers pointed out that the BJP usually pays no attention to it, but now the reverberations of the election are ringing. That is why there is a need to contact the BJP. BJP may also appoint separate spokespersons for YouTube. The document that the NITI Aayog is working on will focus on the needs of the BJP in 2047. By that time, expressways would have been built in the districts of the country.

It was canceled after Rahul's slogan was ridiculed

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi extended the provision of reservation to the backward castes with the intention that Jitni Abadi Utna Haq. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, a disciple of Gandhi, commented on it and said that it will eventually lead to pluralism. However, Singhvi, keeping a distance from the criticism of the Congress party, canceled it. Singhvi scolded the staff member. The above message was at odds with the Congress' stance of conducting a nationwide caste-based enumeration, which caused consternation. To stop the damage caused by Singhvi's post, Congress General Minister Jairam Ramesh said that the party had nothing to do with Singhvi's comments.

Karnataka government in trouble with caste-based census

After the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar released the results of the caste census conducted there, the focus has now fallen on the popular opposition front's ally Congress. The Congress has not released the findings of the Socio-Economic and Educational Survey, a similar survey conducted in Karnataka in 2015. In fact, the Congress does not want to enter into a debate on a controversial issue like caste-based vote counting. Congress feels that such a debate will be detrimental to it in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

7000 seats vacant for economically weaker sections

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed the opinion that Sanatan Dharma is the only religion. In response to this, Congress leader Udit Raj said in a press interview that there is no such thing as Sanatan. If eternal then there will be class system. They are fooling us and trying to get our votes in the name of Sanatan, but now they cannot say that they are all Sanatan. Then why there is inequality among people, it has been questioned.
