Another union minister raped himself at another minister's house.

Sarita has alleged that several top politicians sexually abused her by having sex with her on the pretext of getting solar contracts. Well-known Malayalam serial actress Shalu Menon is also a co-accused in the Solar case. Sarita has alleged that Advocate Ummin Chandy, son of Eman Chandy, had physical relations with Shalu, so both of them went to Dubai for a jalsa. Sarita's claims of having physical relations with several leaders created a stir. The Left Front made this solar and sex scam an issue in the 2016 Kerala assembly elections, and the Congress suffered a crushing defeat.

Now the CBI, which is investigating the case, has claimed that some leaders hatched a conspiracy to implicate Chandy in the case. At his behest, Sarita alleged that Chandi had forced sex with her. In the report submitted by the CBI to the court, Kerala Congress (B) MLA K.B. Ganesh Kumar and another top leader Saranya Manoj are mentioned to have hatched a conspiracy against Chandy.

The report has not been released yet, so the details of which other leaders are mentioned as conspirators have not come out, but the names of Left leaders including Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan are also discussed. Vijayan was in the opposition at the time, so it is said that Sarita was used as a pawn to defame the Congress government.

During the police interrogation, Sarita revealed that she had a close relationship with three top officials of Chief Minister Chandy's office and the police checked the call records of the officials. Police arrested Chandi's personal secretary Teni Joppan and another top official A. Arrested Feroze.

In the solar panel scam, well-known Malayalam film actress Shalu Menon was used to lure big heads into the sex racket. Shalu is a classical dancer who started her acting career in 1998.

Shalu Menon, who came out of jail in 2013, then pursued her career as a TV actress and is now considered the most successful actress in the Malayalam industry. Sarita Nair and Biju Radhakrishnan are the prime accused in the solar scam. Sarita had a relationship with Biju and due to this there was a case that Biju killed his wife Rashmi. Biju committed suicide after forcing Rashmi to death by poisoning her. In this incident, a case of dowry torture was also filed against Biju's mother.

A lower court convicted Biju and sentenced him to life imprisonment, but the Kerala High Court acquitted Biju on grounds that the evidence against him was insufficient. The Supreme Court also gave its stamp of approval on Biju's release and Biju has been acquitted of the murder case.
