A terrible disaster of a landslide.

A new type of insecurity has now emerged in most states of North India and that is land instability. North India has a very high annual average humidity. Even on non-rainy days, the soil remains moist. Also, average rainfall is higher in North Indian and North Eastern states. North India has a whole wonder sacred world of pilgrimage sites. In each of these shrines, haphazard constructions have been done without testing the soil. Due to this, great chaos has arisen in pursuit of this land along with the nearby hills. Even if there are no earthquakes, there are now also tectonic zones that create coincidences such as self-generated earthquakes. This is about the whole of North India, not about any one state.

Illegal constructions have also taken place in places where the state government has banned them, and illegal constructions have also taken place where the central government has banned them. In the last 25 years, the flow of rivers and their course has changed. Without its study, the destruction of nature continues. Mankind has also dumped tons of waste in many lakes and streams, including famous rivers. Knowledge of engineering geology is globally accepted as foundational knowledge for the civil engineering profession. Important, large and heavy civil engineering projects such as construction of dams, reservoirs, highways, bridges and ports have to be built on rocks and soil. An engineer needs to have a thorough knowledge of the soil in which he has to construct.

Information on land slope stability, land subsidence, earthquake and flood effects, etc. has a great impact on the design and implementation of engineering projects. If these things are ignored, they lead to project completion delays and cost overruns, and are likely to result in engineering design failures. Hence it is necessary to carry out a thorough investigation of the topography before selecting a site, but in North India constructions have been made ignoring these great disciplines. Now its dire consequences are beginning to emerge. A new disturbing weather pattern has taken shape in the Indian skies over the past few days. Till date more than 140 people have died in this weather. This is the time for the monsoon to flow. This time, at the beginning of the monsoon, the Biporjoy storm, which suddenly appeared in the atmosphere in many states of the country including North India, disrupted the life of the people.

A total of 46 civilians have died around Agra in Uttar Pradesh. In the first round of storms, there was havoc in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Even in this past month, the Pune observatory has had to issue alerts for several states every day. In Uttar Pradesh, only bikes had to be used to carry the injured citizens, so many people were injured. The central government is not paying any attention to these incidents. In fact, it was a superstorm over all of India, i.e. a raging storm. Hundreds of power poles were downed. Rehabilitation work is still going on in many village areas. The number of displaced people goes into thousands. Some states had to stop school education. It is the central government's fault that due to this conflict in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, despite the need to take the help of the army, not enough steps were taken in that direction, due to which the number of casualties has increased.

A year ago, a storm called Okhi blew. Okhi hit Sri Lanka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu and had an impact in Gujarat as well. All kinds of storms are raging the sea shore. More than 95 percent of people pass their lifetime without growing a single tree. Now farmers have also come into it. Since they have removed the old dead trees in the fields and started harvesting from the land inch by inch, the vacation for the birds in the summer seasons has become very less. Rest is a big word, if the society cannot give it to the animals then it is useless to wait for the time of rest in one's personal life.
