Yasuko's life began to smell like pink flowers again

- Loving is easy, but practicing it is a skill!

- Toshiyuki and Yasuko

Loving is an event, but practicing that love is a practice. Some call true love the way to heaven, some call it the spontaneous fountain of the soul. Many such incidents recorded in history are seen as examples of undying love. One such true love story is that of Shireen and Farhad, whose sacrifice is still fondly remembered today.

Which was the price between Romeo-Juliet or Laila-Majnu? Romeo touched only one girl in his life, Juliet, with whom he was deeply in love. Even for Juliet, life meant Romeo. Centuries have passed. Times change, but the story of Romeo and Juliet's pure love and sacrifice is immortal. Then someone shows the name of Laila-Majnu. Some remember the love story of Jodha-Akbar and some Salim-Anarkali.

But today we have to talk about that love story, which is a living phenomenon of our era today. A young man named Toshiyuki from Japan falls in love with a girl named Yasuko. They got married in 1956 and at that time the newlyweds set up a dairy farm. There were about 60 cows in this farm. Toshiyuki and Yasuko woke up early in the morning to take care of, feed and groom the cows and thus their busy lives were busy all day long.

After some time, Yasuko became pregnant, giving birth to her first child. A few years later another child was born and now the couple found it difficult to raise two children and take care of around 60 cows. Despite this, both of them used to indulge in this hectic work all day long, forgetting all the joys of life. At the time of arrival, sometimes the hope arose in their minds that we have not yet seen the world outside our farm. Just work, work and work. Thinking that retirement will come, then we will turn around all over Japan. We will see its beautiful scenic spots and visit the pagoda. Keeping an eye on the dreams of the future, he kept his today active.

After thirty years of marriage, Yasuko was stricken with diabetes in such a way that she lost both of her sight within a week. This incident shook Toshiyuki's heart. Their cherished dreams were left unfulfilled, while Yasuko felt that the blindness was the beginning of the end of her miserable life. Yasuko started sobbing and crying. She became so depressed that she would lock herself in her room for hours. She used to sigh seeing her condition and drowned in regret and shock remembering her future dreams.

Her husband Toshiyuki did not understand how to get his wife out of such depression? He sees his condition every day and at the same time feels the constant pain of not being able to do anything. Gradually, Yasuko lost interest in life, stopped even communicating with people, and confined herself to a lonely house in her own home. Her husband would often tell her, 'Let's go for a walk outside our farm' or he would say, 'Let's go to a nearby scenic spot,' but Yasuko wanted to stay within the four walls of her room. Despair was overshadowed in his mind to such an extent that solitude became his refuge.

Nirupai Toshiyuki used to feel sad all the time. Thinking that the days of youth were spent tending to the cows of the farm and now that some relaxation has come, life itself has lost all interest. What a cruel trick of fate! Toshiyuki didn't know what to do now? How to free a wife trapped in depression. He tried to convince Yasuko, but Yasuko was no longer interested in living. Where does the happiness of life come from?

One day Shiyuki saw a bright pink Flower called shibazakura. Thus, there are one hundred species of fuchsia flower, but in Japan, the beauty of this fuchsia is completely different. Toshiyuki was happy to see this fragrant flower, but at the same time, the thought arose in his mind that I can see this flower, I can see its beauty, I can enjoy its fragrance to my heart's content, but what about Yasuko? She will not be able to see this flower and will not be able to enjoy it. Toshiyuki had an idea and started planting flowers in the field around his farmhouse. Within two years, he turned the 60-cow dairy into a huge garden of these fragrant and attractive pink flowers, and people from around the area began to visit Toshiyuki's house covered in pink sheets. Some passers-by stopped their vehicles to admire the scented air and pink shibazakura blossoms from this garden.

Gradually, he began to visit Yasuko with people who came to see the sheet of flowers and it happened that one day Yasuko came out of the house inspired by the scent of shibazakura and she touched these pink flowers growing in the garden. She could not see these flowers, but could enjoy their fragrance. Seeing the joy on her face, Toshiyuki thought that if a whole Shibazakura garden were built here, how many people would come to see it, and then its sweet fragrance would bring Yasuko out of the house, who was in solitary confinement, and then she would interact with the people who came to see this garden and feel her joy. . Along with all this, one's wife's loneliness will decrease, the withered vitality will reawaken and hence happiness will be seen on her face again.

As a result, Toshiyuki retired from his dairy business. Sold the cows and worked tirelessly for two years to plant thousands of Shibazakoros. Also known as Mies Flock. He built straight paths through his farm, so that visitors can stroll through the garden and enjoy the beauty and fragrance of the flowers. This garden became the center of attraction among the surrounding fields. He turned his farm into a fuchsia fantasyland and people recognized it as a tourist destination.

Within a decade, his house was surrounded by a carpet of pink flowers, and then, as he had expected, many visitors began to visit the garden. She used to meet Yasuko, talk to them and give them permission to enjoy this fragrance of flowers. This ploy to get Toshiyuki's wife out of isolation was successful, and as the phlox bloomed, many people began to come to see her. In the shed where he kept his 60 cows, he put up pictures of this beauty of flowers and set up a visitor center. Tourists from surrounding area started coming here. Yasuko's life began to smell again with these flowers. She interacted with the people visiting the garden and within a short time the loneliness and depression of her life disappeared completely.

Today a large part of the day is spent happily chatting with tourists. Sometimes he walks among these flowers with them. She is still struggling with her blindness, but her soul has turned pink again. She became the warm cheerful woman she was before. Gradually this garden became famous on internet and TV. Toshiyuki still walks this pink field with Yasuko. People also come to see this couple and think that a farmer in Japan created a fragrant garden with thousands of flowers around his farm, so that his wife could get rid of depression in his life.

In March and April, when Shibazakura blooms with its pink color, seven thousand tourists come to visit it, smell it, feast their eyes on the sheets of pink flowers and catch a glimpse of this happy and loving couple who have grown old together. is and thinks how mutual love and care can make life rich and interesting.

Most Youthful: But How Powerful?

Poet Rabindranath Tagore used to go to Bolpur station. On the way, he saw Shri Narsinghbhai Patel who came from Gujarat. This Narsinghbhai Patel, his wife and their two daughters - Vimlaben and Shantaben - lived in Shantiniketan. These four persons were carrying big boxes on their heads. And Shanti was going to Niketan. Seeing them, Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore stopped the motor and asked, 'Why are you carrying such big pots on your head?'

Vimlabhan said: 'Gurudev, there are cooking utensils in the potla, bought these utensils from the Chauta (market) of Bolpur.'

Gurudev said: 'Is it necessary to go to Bolpur for this? All this is found in the ashram of Santiniketan.'

Vimalabehan said: 'Gurudev, this item is expensive in this shop in the ashram. Why pay more?'

Gurudev said: 'Yes, you are right.'

Vimlabehan said, 'Also, let's go to Chauta so we can get whatever we like. Also seen in other shops, so we go there.'

Gurudev said: 'But what about having to come from Bolpur to Shantiniketan carrying such a big box?'

Vimalabehan said: 'What's in it? With such exertion, the body will be good.'

Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore said: 'True. Let's put your bags in my car, I'll deliver them to you in the evening.'

Seeing the hard work of Narsinghbhai Patel's family, the poet was lost in thought. He thought, 'How much physical labor this family does to get cheap things! His daughters are also working in Shantiniketan along with worshiping literature and art! Such labor only keeps the body healthy.'

That evening poet Rabindranath Tagore held a women's meeting in Santiniketan. In it he said: 'You Bengalis tie keys to the end of your saree and walk around the ashram with books of literature in your hands, but these keys and books alone do not contain the purpose of life. The first task of life is to keep the body strong by exertion. Lord comes only where the body temple is strong. Thus, a strong body is needed first, then literature etc. arts.' Saying this, the poet Rabindranath Tagore talked about the working class family he saw in the morning.

We remembered this because today physical labor has been banned among students. At one time scout activity was going on, NCC activity was going on. Today those activities have become almost impossible. While the opening opens like a cat's top, it does not have a field. Satisfied with just having an exercise class in the timetable. On the other hand, students and youth have felt such an obsession with mobile that their life has become sedentary. All around, the glory of this country is being sung that it has the most youth, but this youth has become weak and surrounded by diseases, what about it?
