- A hyper active and very restless child can be soothed by aromatherapy. Some scents reduce a person's aggression

Many a person's mood changes when they hear the sounds of asafoetida and rai in the dal being cooked in the neighbor's house. Appetite is stimulated. A kind of joy is felt. There is also a belief that the soda of Waghar makes the mouth water. A rose flower was invariably seen on the jacket of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of the country. It is said that he loved roses and the Fragrance of roses. Everyone has one or the other favorite fragrance. Some find it intoxicating overnight while some find it stimulating. Someone feels relief from lavender, while someone feels joy from the scent of sandalwood.

According to an opinion, Aromatherapy in our country is thousands of years old. There are stories of Mughal Begums regularly bathing in scented water. However, the modern medical world does not consider aromatherapy to be reliable or recognized as a therapy. Of course, the US Food and Drug Department has only partially recognized aromatherapy as an alternative therapy. At the same time, it has also been said that aroma therapy does not cure any illness or disease, so it can be considered as cosmetics.

Psychiatrists say that in hyper tension, stress, nausea, vomiting, a person feels a kind of relief from favorite aroma. Even a hyperactive and very restless child can be soothed by aromatherapy. Some scents reduce a person's aggression. Different scents also have the same effect as sedatives. It depends on each person's taste when which fragrance will make a person happy.

One thing is certain that no one likes bad smell. Everyone presses a handkerchief to their nose or holds their breath for two to five seconds when an unpleasant smell occurs. It simply means that scent affects one's mood. Odors inhaled through the nostrils reach the part of the brain that releases hormones that make a person feel relaxed or happy.

Sometimes, exceptionally, some people do not like perfumes. People who wanted to meet Osho Rajneesh were told that they would not come with any kind of Perfume or perfume. Osho did not like strong fragrances.

Here is one thing to understand. Mostly what we call perfume is different flower extract added to sandalwood oil. The base of the fragrance known as perfume is alcohol. Fragrance experts say that fragrances also have some rules. Perfumes like khas, rose, majmua etc. can be used in summer. Heena is considered best in winter. Mogra is said to stimulate sex. That is probably why Varavanitas wear mogra braids more.

In this field too, new discoveries are being made. In between, someone made a perfume of the scent of ponds powder, while a researcher first made a perfume of the incense that emerges from the earth in the wake of rain. This sector is so extensive that there are billions of dollar factories in Europe and America. Kanoj has been a major manufacturing and distribution center for perfumes in India for hundreds of years. Attar is said to be popular mostly in the Muslim community with the name Jannat-e-Firdous.

Whether the medical world believes it or not, one thing is for sure that different scents play a very important role in changing one's mood. No matter how upset a person is, a favorite scent immediately affects the hormones in his brain and changes his mood within seconds. This issue is at the core of aromatherapy.
