Talking about Delhi: Modi fielded 10 ministers

New Delhi: For the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has divided the MPs of the NDA parties into ten groups and assigned the responsibility of devising a strategy for each group to ten Union ministers. Anurag Thakur, Dharmendra Pradhan, Nityanand Rai, Sarbanand Sonowal, Prahlad Joshi, Arjunram Meghwal and other ministers have been made group in-charges. This group includes MPs from allied parties and BJP who will work in coordination with each other.

The meetings of these 10 groups of NDA MPs will start from July 25. Narendra Modi himself will meet with NDA MPs every day. As NDA has 338 MPs in Lok Sabha, each group has 35 to 40 MPs.

Apart from Modi, JP Nadda and Rajnath Singh will be present in these meetings. The three leaders will discuss with the MPs and also take feedback on the problems and development works of their areas. Will coordinate with Union Ministers and party office bearers including Sanjeev Balian and Ajay Bhatt.

Opposition to alliance with SP in UP Congress

The issue of the Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (India), an anti-BJP front formed by the Congress along with the opposition, is also in dispute in the Uttar Pradesh Congress. Congress leaders in UP have held meetings for two consecutive days against the alliance with the Samajwadi Party but have left the final decision to the high command. Earlier in Punjab too, the leaders of Punjab Congress have raised their arms on the issue of alliance with Aam Aadmi Party.

Congress leaders believe that a section of upper castes in UP has been with the Congress for years. After the grand victory of Congress in Karnataka, Muslims have also decided to vote for Congress. Apart from this, Congress should fight alone as Pasi voters are also with Congress. This time, the Congress can sit again by repeating the 2009 election no. In 2009, Congress won 21 seats.

Nagaland NCP ditched Sharad Pawar

7 NCP MLAs from Nagaland have joined Ajit Pawar's faction due to the split in NCP in Maharashtra. Nagaland NCP state president Wanthunge met national working president Praful Patel and Maharashtra state president Sunil Tatkare in Delhi. Wanthung has given affidavits of support to Ajith from 7 MLAs as well as all office bearers. Sources say that Ajit Pawar is turning all the regional organizations of NCP in his direction.

In his first press conference after becoming Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar talked about Sharad Pawar's Nagaland model. He said that NCP had 7 MLAs in Nagaland. Sharad Pawar decided that all MLAs will support BJP as it is necessary to support BJP now for the development of Nagaland. If NCP can go with BJP for development of Nagaland, why can't it go with BJP for development of Maharashtra state?

Active in Gwalior to tutor Priyanka Scindia

Priyanka Gandhi's activism in the state has increased before the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. Priyanka is very active in Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia's stronghold Gwalior. He has visited Gwalior for the second time in the last one month.

Congress sources claim that because of Govind Singh, the leader of the opposition in the assembly, there are excellent chances of victory for the Congress in the Gwalior-Chambal region, so it was the Congress leaders who requested Priyanka to enter the fray. Congress leader is also eager to teach Jyotiraditya Scindia a lesson as Congress government went to Madhya Pradesh due to Jyotiraditya Scindia's defection.

In the municipal corporation elections held in Gwalior last year, the Congress gave a crushing defeat to the BJP with a brilliant performance. In Gwalior, Congress won the mayoralty even though the Congress did not have a strong leader. Due to this, there is great enthusiasm among the Congress workers in the Gwalior-Chambal region.

After Rahul applied for an urgent hearing of the case, the Supreme Court accepted the demand for an urgent hearing on July 18, but before that Purnesh Modi also filed a caveat. Modi appealed that the case should not be decided without hearing him.

Opposition uproar to stop Delhi Ordinance

On the issue of violence in Manipur, proceedings had to be adjourned as uproar continued in Parliament the next day. The BJP leaders believe that the opposition is disrupting the proceedings of the house by creating a ruckus so that the laws including the ordinance empowering the lieutenant governor in Delhi are not passed.

The Center had on May 19 issued an ordinance on transfer, posting and vigilance rights of officers in Delhi. Through this Ordinance, the Center has decided to constitute the National Capital Civil Service Authority. Delhi Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and Chief Home Secretary will be in this authority which will decide on transfer and posting of officers. However, the final decision on transfer-posting of officers will rest with the Lt. Governor. The Chief Minister will have no authority in this regard.

The opposition is united against the Centre's ordinance. Apart from Congress, Mamata Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, KCR and Uddhav Thackeray have already received support.
