Talk of Delhi: Demand to dismiss the Manipur government

New Delhi: The entire country has been shaken after the video of two women who were gang-raped in Manipur being paraded naked in public went viral. The incident took place on May 4 in Kangpokpi district, about 35 km from Imphal. Due to internet ban, this video was suppressed at that time but now it has gone viral. People are accusing the BJP government of Manipur of suppressing the serious incident. Instead of taking immediate action regarding this incident, the central and state governments are now making statements and are also being criticized.

This video was trending on social media. People are lashing out at the BJP government of Manipur and demanding its suspension for suppressing such incidents. The BJP leadership has also been stunned by this video.

Complaint against the new name of the opposition front

A police complaint has been lodged against the 26 Opposition Parties meeting in Bengaluru naming the anti-BJP front as the Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance (India). In a complaint filed against the leaders of 26 parties in Delhi's Barakhamba Road Police Station, it has been claimed that no one can use the word India for personal gain. The opposition has violated the Emblem Act-2022 by naming its alliance as India. Due to this decision of the opposition, our sentiments have been hurt, so the use of this name should be banned immediately.

Opposition leaders say that this is a stunt by BJP. The name of the opposition alliance is not India but by taking the first letters of its full name it becomes India which does not violate any law. BJP is afraid of opposition unity, so it is making such efforts.

BJP will take the small parties along and cut the votes of the opposition

Against the grand alliance formed by the anti-BJP parties, the BJP has also started a quest to expand the NDA by associating more and more small parties with itself. 38 parties were present in the NDA meeting called by BJP. However, among these 25 parties have no MP and 7 parties have one MP each. Under these circumstances, there are criticisms that the BJP is simply pretending to be with more parties by gathering a conglomerate of such parties.

BJP leaders say that candidates from smaller parties may not win but BJP is taking them along as these parties are very effective in cutting the votes of the opposition.

In the last two Lok Sabha elections, 12 percent of the votes went to very small political parties. At the national level these parties have no recognition but because of them BJP won 500 seats.

Rebellion in Punjab Congress over alliance with AAP

The opposition, including the Congress, has formed an anti-BJP front, the Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (India), and the Congress has begun to protest. It has been announced that the parties of this front will join at the national level. Aam Aadmi Party has also been included in the front. The Punjab Congress leaders have thrown up their sleeves against it.

In a meeting presided over by Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Waring, objection was taken against the alliance with AAP by vehemently protesting the tyrannical rule of the AAP government in Punjab. All the top leaders of Punjab Congress were present in the meeting. He has decided to raise this issue before the high command.

Punjab Congress sources say that if AAP and Congress fight the Lok Sabha elections together, there will be a split in the Congress. Leaders are warning that the political future of Congress will be destroyed due to AAP in Punjab.

Hope to get a stay on the ordinance

The issue is likely to be stalled as the Supreme Court refers a petition against the central government's ordinance giving the lieutenant governor the power to transfer and post officers in Delhi to a five-judge constitution bench. Of course, a five-member constitution bench will decide whether to stay the ordinance or not, so there is slim hope for the Aam Aadmi Party government. You hope that once the ordinance is stayed, it doesn't matter how long the hearing lasts.

You are also hopeful because of the comments made by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud during the hearing. Senior advocate Harish Salve, appearing for the Lt. Governor, argued that once the Bill is introduced in the Parliament, there will be no need to consider the Ordinance issue. The Chief Justice replied that we cannot wait till then. Due to this, it is hoped that the Supreme Court will grant a stay.

Modi met Sonia in front, asked for information

On the first day of the Monsoon session of Parliament, Narendra Modi went to meet Sonia Gandhi in front is being praised. Soon after Modi entered the house, instead of going to his seat, he went to the seats of the opposition members and greeted the leaders. After that he walked from the front to meet Sonia Gandhi and went to her seat and asked about her information. Both of them talked for some time.

Modi asked about Sonia's health. Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary claims that Sonia Gandhi requested Modi to discuss the situation in Manipur in the House. As the situation in Manipur is serious, the government is ready to discuss the issue.

However, on the first day of the Monsoon session of the Parliament, the proceedings of the House were forced to be adjourned due to a great uproar in the Parliament on the issue of Manipur.

Andhra Chief Minister assures Muslims

Andhra's ruling YSR Congress Party and opposition Telugu Desam Party have not given any clear assurance to Muslims that they will oppose the Central Government's proposed UCC (Uniform Citizenship Act) bill. YSRC President and Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy told representatives of various Muslim groups at his camp office that Muslims need not worry unnecessarily. Because the Center has not yet prepared the draft bill on UCC. Its details have not been announced yet.
