Pakistan will not come to India to play the World Cup match, Pakistan's problem

- ICC has also announced the schedule of the World Cup, where Pakistan will play the match is also decided, but now Shahbaz says that the matter will be decided by the committee.

- The reason why Shahbaz Sharif's government is doing this drama is the internal politics of Pakistan. Economic condition of Pakistan is bad and people are angry. Sharif has formed the government but has not cooked up anything that can be used to demand votes. National Assembly elections in Pakistan will be held in November. This election will decide who will be the next government in Pakistan. Shahbaz Sharif wants to force the Indian cricket team to come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup to make an issue in the elections.

Just as the countdown to the One Day Cricket World Cup in India has begun, Pakistan has started a new drama. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has also announced the program of the World Cup. According to this program, the World Cup is to be played in India from October 5 to November 19. Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has formed a committee of his ministers to decide where Pakistan's matches will be played in this program.

This committee, chaired by Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, will decide whether Pakistan will go to play the World Cup or not. Based on the recommendation of this committee, Shahbaz Sharif will decide whether to send the Pakistan cricket team to India or not.

Apart from Bilawal Bhutto, 10 other senior ministers including Home Minister Rana Sanullah and Law and Justice Minister Azam Nazir Tarar are in this committee.

It is clear from Shahbaz's sudden play of forming a committee of senior ministers that Shahbaz Sharif wants to make the issue of sending Pakistan's cricket team to India a big deal and most likely decided not to send Pakistan's cricket team to India to play the World Cup. The script for that has also been written and now its implementation has started.

As soon as Shahbaz formed the committee as part of this script, Pakistan's Sports Minister Ehsan Mazari entered the fray.

Mazari announced that if the Indian cricket team is not ready to come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then Pakistan will not go to India to play the World Cup. Mazari has also spread the wisdom that if India wants to play Asia Cup matches at a neutral venue, our World Cup matches should also be played at a neutral venue.

Mazari has announced that Zaka Ashraf, the new chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), will raise this issue in the next week's ICC meeting in South Africa. It will be known only then what the ICC says about whether the Indian team will come to Pakistan or not. Considering that the Bhutto Committee is also going to submit its report next week, it will be known next week whether the Pakistan team will go to India or not, but if the Indian team does not come to Pakistan, it is certain that Pakistan will not go to India either.

From what Mazari said, it seems that the Sharif government does not want to send the Pakistan team to India. This is why he has again raised the issue of Asia Cup. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already said on Dunk Ki Chot that the Indian cricket team will not go to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup. Take what Pakistan wants to do and break what it wants to break.

Aware of India's strength in international cricket, the then PCB chairman Najam Shetty suggested playing the Asia Cup with a hybrid model. India has agreed to play in the Asia Cup as per PCB's suggested hybrid model. According to this hybrid model, India's two league matches and all subsequent matches will be played in Sri Lanka while four leagues will be played in Pakistan. The PCB itself is the pioneer of the hybrid model, and now it is the one who has started saying that if the Indian cricket team is not ready to come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, then Pakistan will not go to India to play the World Cup.

The reason why Shahbaz Sharif's government is doing this drama is the internal politics of Pakistan. Economic condition of Pakistan is bad now and people are angry.

Shahbaz Sharif has formed the government, but he has not prepared anything that will force him to go to the people for votes. The term of the National Assembly in Pakistan is due to end in August and elections will be held in November. This election will decide who will be the next government in Pakistan.

Shahbaz Sharif wants to force the Indian cricket team to come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup to make an issue in the elections.

Imran Khan is quite aggressively facing Shahbaz so Sharif needs a strong point to topple him.

Creating anti-India hysteria among Pakistanis is politically beneficial, so Sharif has taken that short cut. Both Shahbaz and Imran have to raise the issue of Kashmir, so Shahbaz has started to fight for leadership over Imran.

This is not going to happen, but if Narayan and the Indian team go to Pakistan, Shahbaz can say, India was flirting but we bowed down to India and forced the Indian cricket team to come to Pakistan.

If India does not come to play in Pakistan, Sharif can claim that by not sending Pakistan's team to India to play in the World Cup, we have answered India in its own language. If the Indian cricket team did not come to Pakistan to play the Asia Cup, we also did not send the Pakistan team to India to play the World Cup.

Sharif is making plays to win the election and sit again as Prime Minister. If Pakistan does not play a World Cup, it will not make any difference to them, but if this issue goes on, they will get permission to rule Pakistan for five years.

Shahbaz's tactics for political gain also threaten to push Pakistan out of world cricket. Pakistan is bound to play in every ICC competition.

Pakistan has signed an agreement for this. If Pakistan does not come to play the World Cup, ICC can expel it. Considering India's dominance in the ICC, Pakistan's ouster is a left-handed move for India. Due to this, Pakistan will not only be out of international cricket but the Pakistan Super League (PSL) like IPL will also be locked as foreign players will not be able to play in it.

In these circumstances, there is every possibility that Pakistan, which is currently making noises, will sit quietly later. Given that this has already happened in the Asia Cup issue, such a possibility cannot be ruled out.

- Pakistan don't mind playing in Ahmedabad

According to the schedule of the World Cup, India and Pakistan are going to clash on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In the remaining matches, Pakistan will play against Netherlands and Sri Lanka in Hyderabad, against Australia and New Zealand in Bengaluru, against Bangladesh and England in Kolkata and against Afghanistan and South Africa in Chennai. Pakistan doesn't mind playing in Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai or Bengaluru but major objection is playing in Ahmedabad. After the India-Pakistan match was allocated in Ahmedabad in the World Cup program, the former chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Shetty commented that it has been decided to play the match in Ahmedabad in order to prepare India's line-up if we do not come to play.

Pakistan's Sports Minister Mazari does not mind Pakistan team playing against India in Ahmedabad but he raised the old issue of India coming to Pakistan to play Asia Cup.

- Asia Cup too

Will it go up?

All eyes are on next week's meeting in Durban, South Africa to decide on the World Cup and Asia Cup. There will be a meeting between BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf on the Asia Cup issue in Durban.

The Asia Cup has been decided to be played as per the hybrid model but the schedule has not been announced yet. Earlier, PCB showed its readiness to play in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, but now Pakistan has started playing the bell that the Asia Cup will be played only in Pakistan. Given that India is not ready to play Pakistan, there is a possibility that the Asia Cup will also be postponed.
