Modi's trusted ministers are in charge of important states

NEW DELHI: The sudden recall of Prakash Javadekar has come as a surprise to the BJP appointing Election in-charges in four states.

In Telangana, Prakash Javadekar has been made in-charge while Sunil Bansal has been made co-in-charge. With this appointment, Javadkar, who had been forgotten for a long time, suddenly came into the limelight. BJP's chances of winning in Telangana are very low but Javadekar got a chance is also a big deal. Besides, Javadekar's price was not being asked for some time.

However, it has become clear who Modi trusts more in appointing the in-charges.

BJP has made Prahlad Joshi in-charge in Rajasthan while Bhupendra Yadav in-charge and Ashwini Vaishnav as co-in-charge in Madhya Pradesh. In charge of Chhattisgarh Omprakash Mathur and Dr. Mansukh Mandavi has been made co-in-charge. Since these are the three most important states for the BJP, Modi's special men have been placed there.

BJP gave 15 Lok Sabha seats to Ajith

Shiv Sena is reeling from reports of a deal between Ajit Pawar's NCP and BJP to contest the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra.

NCP claims that NCP will contest from Maharashtra-15 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. The NCP leader is also claiming that the NCP will contest from the seats currently held by the Congress in addition to its current MLAs in the assembly elections. In Maharashtra, the NCP will contest around 90 assembly seats as the Congress won 45 seats in the assembly elections. NCP won Raigad, Baramati, Shirur and Satara Lok Sabha seats in 2019. AIMIM won in Aurangabad.

Congress-NCP supported Navneet Rana who won from Amaravati but later Rana supported BJP.

All these seats will go to NCP. There is tension in the Shiv Sena camp led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde due to BJP's alliance with NCP. There is a fear that the BJP will sideline the Shiv Sena.

Violence in Bengal elections, demand for President's rule

Following the widespread violence in the local Swaraj elections in West Bengal, pressure has been started by the BJP to impose President's rule in Bengal. Despite the deployment of central forces, incidents of arson violence and burning of ballot papers have taken place in isolated areas. Twenty people have died in these incidents of violence. Governor C.V. Anand Bose criticized this violence and said, I have been out since morning. People have complained to me that goons are not allowing them to vote. Election should be done by ballot and not by bullet but there is gangsterism in Bengal. Looking at the Governor's statement, there are signs of a new wave in Bengal after the elections. However, the BJP leader believes that it will not be easy to dismiss the Mamata government and impose President's rule. Given that Mamata is very aggressive, it could bring a fight on the road and give the BJP a hard time in the Lok Sabha polls.

Gadkari's sarcasm, suit tailors hanged...

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's sarcasm on BJP leaders in Maharashtra has gone viral. In Nagpur, he spoke in Marathi on the politics of Maharashtra and said in Marathi that the people of our country are drowning in the ocean of misery. A civic servant is sad for not becoming an MLA, a MLA is sad for not becoming a minister, a minister is sad for not getting a good department. The ministerial aspirant is now saddened by the missed opportunity. Gadkari took a jibe at the aspirants to become ministers in the Maharashtra Shinde government and said that all the aspirants were ready by making suit boots first. He was waiting for his number to be called. Now the suit has remained the same. Their problem is what to do with the suit? He joked that the suit boots remained and others came and became ministers. He advised the MLAs that they should be satisfied with what they got.

Your condition for attendance at opposition unity meeting

The Aam Aadmi Party has made a condition to attend the second meeting of the opposition to be held in Bengaluru on July 17-18, that the Congress first decides on the ordinance on the Governor's powers in Delhi. After that you will consider attending the meeting.

The meeting is to be held under the chairmanship of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge. Aam Aadmi Party has also been invited for this meeting. The Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that the Congress had promised in a meeting held in Patna that it would make its stand on the ordinance public 15 days before the start of the monsoon session, but the Congress has not yet made its stand clear.

Rajya Sabha MP Radhav Chadha said that based on the attitude of the Congress regarding the ordinance, we will consider joining the meeting. Arvind Kejriwal has said that if this ordinance is not passed in the Rajya Sabha, people will feel that the opposition can defeat the Modi government in the 2024 elections, so all the opposition parties will join the protest.

Kapil Sibal was contacted to save Rahul

As the Gujarat High Court did not grant relief to Rahul Gandhi in the Modi surname dispute case, the Congress has started preparing to go to the Supreme Court. Congress is said to have approached Kapil Sibal for this. Congress has constitutional experts including Abhishek Manu Singhvi and top Supreme Court lawyers but Sibal is being consulted as he is more experienced. Sources claim that Priyanka Gandhi herself has spoken to Sibal on this issue. Sibal has shown readiness to help Rahul in any way. The Gujarat High Court has rejected the petition seeking stay on Rahul Gandhi's sentence. Rahul Gandhi still has the option of petitioning the High Court bench or the Supreme Court. Rahul can also apply for bail in the High Court.
