Talking about Delhi: Congress has a target of 130 seats in the Patna assembly

New Delhi: The 15 parties that gathered to form the BJP front in Patna discussed how to cross the figure of 272 seats in the Lok Sabha. Sources claim that most of the leaders emphasized that the Congress has to cross the mark of 130 seats in any way to defeat the BJP. Leaders including Sharad Pawar and Nitish have advised Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to narrow down the strategy of how the Congress can cross the 130 seat mark. Since Congress has 53 seats, it has to win another 73 seats.

Apart from this, RJD is expected to win at least 15 seats while the Left Front led by CPIM is also expected to win at least 15 seats. The emphasis is on the Left Front winning seats not in Bengal, Kerala but elsewhere.

All the parties present in the opposition unity assembly have 153 Lok Sabha seats, while the BJP alone has 303 seats.

BJP's cheap electricity against free electricity

While the anti-BJP parties are betting on free electricity, to counter them, the central government has made major changes in the power tariff rules to provide electricity at cheaper rates. Under the new tariff, electricity rates will be as low as 20 percent during the day and up to 20 percent higher at night during peak night hours.

Officially, the new power tariff rules are aimed at increasing the use of renewable power. In fact, this decision has been taken to counter parties like Congress and AAP who attract voters by offering free electricity. The Centre's scheme benefits all sections while other parties benefit only the poor, hence BJP's benefit count.

New power tariff is planned to be implemented in the country from April 2024. The new power tariff will be implemented first for commercial and industrial users. After that it will be applied for customers other than agriculture. These new electricity rates will be applicable immediately for customers with smart meters.

Maksika is the first grass in the opposition unity

Nitish Kumar's efforts for opposition unity have turned into a mush at the very first grass. In this meeting, the Aam Aadmi Party has announced separation from the Congress without clarifying its stand on the issue of the Modi government's ordinance making the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi the supreme leader. It has been announced by AAP that Aam Aadmi Party will not go to the meeting in which Congress will participate.

You have said that it is difficult for you to participate in any opposition unity meeting with the Congress until the Congress publicly opposes the ordinance and its 31 Rajya Sabha MPs speak against the ordinance.

Analysts call your outrage justified. Except the Congress, all the remaining 11 parties have publicly condemned the ordinance and promised to vote against the ordinance in the Rajya Sabha, but the Congress is not naming the mug. Congress is settling its score instead of opposing BJP.

Lalu thinks, achhe din aa gaye

Laluprasad Yadav appeared in his true colors after a long time at the press-conference after the meeting of opposition parties in Patna. Lalu advised Rahul Gandhi in his typical style and said, "Where are you walking around with a beard?" Now Mahatmaji should get married. Even your mother used to say that you are not listening to us, now you should get Rahul married. Time has not yet passed. Get married, we will come to life. Lalu also advised that, Nitishji's opinion, cut your beard short.

Due to Lalu's relaxed attitude, the other leaders also got into a relaxed mood. Rahul also participated in the prank.

Sources say that Lalu feels that the heyday of his family is coming back. Days have changed since his operation was successful and Tejashwi got a daughter there.

BJP will bring singer Barle to defeat Baghel

There are rumors that the BJP will have a lot of trouble in the assembly elections to be held later this year due to the performance of the Congress government of Bhupesh Baghel in Chhattisgarh. BJP is trying to field Pandwani singer Usha Barle to take on Baghel.

Padma Shri awardee Usha Barle is expected to sway tribal voters to BJP. Usha Barle can contest from Ahivada or Patan assembly seat on BJP ticket. Patan is the assembly constituency of Bhupesh Baghel. Amit Shah, who visited Chhattisgarh, had dinner at Usha Barle's house. This lunch diplomacy is considered the first step to bring Usha into the BJP.

Usha Barle claimed that now she does not want to enter politics or contest elections and not discredit herself by associating herself with any party. Sources in BJP say that whatever Usha says, his arrival in BJP is ready.

BJP's target in Lok Sabha is Rahul Gandhi

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, BJP will once again try to win by targeting Rahul Gandhi. BJP has started efforts in this direction and has started campaigning that it will play the battle of Narendra Modi versus Rahul Gandhi for the post of Prime Minister in 2024.

Amit Shah started this campaign and said that Congress is trying to make Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister in 2024 and people have to choose between Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi.

BJP sources say that Rahul Gandhi is a soft target for BJP. The BJP has for years raised the issue of the Nehru-Gandhi dynasties of the Congress, so the BJP has developed a loyal constituency that fires up at the very name of Rahul. BJP wants to take advantage of this sentiment in 2024 Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, the opposition wants to break into unity.

A blow to the opposition due to the rift between AAP-Congress?

32 leaders of 15 political parties of the country gathered in a mega meeting of the opposition held in Patna on June 23 and the leaders of the remaining parties except one party prepared to give a united fight to the BJP for a common agenda, becoming an important political event ahead of the 2024 general elections. Chief Ministers of Delhi and Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann, respectively, attended the meeting, but the rift between the AAP and the Congress boiled over, with Kejriwal commenting that 'country first, party later' if the Congress, central government control of Delhi's administrative services. Your leaders are also sticking to the note that if the founder does not clarify his stand on the controversial ordinance, it will be difficult for him to attend future opposition meetings.

Opposition meeting was a photo-session: BJP

The BJP has dismissed the opposition's June 23 Patna meeting as just a 'photo session'. Congress has announced that it is not capable of defeating Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP added. In the meeting that lasted for four and a half hours, the opposition parties have announced that they will fight the next general election unitedly. The future program will be decided in the next opposition meeting to be held in Simla. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said in a public rally held in Jammu that despite many efforts, the opposition will not be able to unite. Even if unity is established among them and they go before the people to ask for votes, Modi will become the Prime Minister for the third time by winning 300 seats out of 543 Lok Sabha seats in the next elections.

IITs protest cancellation of JEE Advance

Currently, IITs in the country admit students to engineering courses based on the results of the JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) held simultaneously by them. The IIT Council meeting held on April 18 found that the central government is keen to reduce the pressure on students and the IITs' control over the admission process. The central government therefore wants a system of holding a common entrance test for all the technical institutes it allocates funds to, which the IITs have unanimously opposed. NEC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) Chairman Anil D. Sahasrabudhe had presented the idea of canceling the JEE (advance) exam in the above meeting on April 18.
