Dreams of the Kazakh people.

Kazakhstan is a Country spread over a very large area in Central Asia. It has one foot in Europe and one foot in Asia, so it is also known as the old hungry Eurasia. This is an educated Muslim country. But here women are completely free and independent. Kazakh men do not impose any restrictions on women under the pretext of religion. For the same reason, there are more women than men in the civil service in the Kazakh Government. They can wear any dress they like. At the time when United Russia disintegrated, the Kazakh nation was the last to break away. While many other provinces were quick to secede from Russia, Kazakh leaders remained calm. Eventually it too took on the color of perestroika and glasnost and became independent from Russia. There is a huge display of nature's many forms here.

There are mountains, forests and rivers. There is also a desert region. There are grasslands that never end. Such grasslands are called steppes. It has a very contrasting climate. Here, the green grass waving to the far horizons of Bhumishree has a temperature of thirty degrees during the day, while the temperature at night is minus thirty degrees. No one but the hardy could live near the steppe. Kazakhstan has the fewest citizens in the world, seven or eight per square kilometer. It is a country with a small population compared to the land. On the other hand, there are abundant natural resources here. When the currently considered developed countries and their people are destroyed, perhaps thousands of years later, this steppe will give them a new life here. Because the atmosphere here is the same as it has been since time immemorial.

The situation in Kazakhstan is not normal. More than 1200 civilians were killed in the recent riots. However, this figure is the figure given by the government, so the actual violence is feared to be much higher. Riots broke out across the country due to high prices of petroleum products. The government interpreted the riots as a prelude to a coup d'état. Indeed, the citizens have become tensed with various kinds of price hikes. Besides, there are many allegations of corruption against the rulers. On average the people here are happy and prosperous. But the people no longer have faith in the political leadership. They believe that at any time their government will become a toy in the hands of Russia.

For all these reasons, Kazakh people took to the streets and started rioting. Such riots started that the government issued orders like Dekho Thar, due to which there is still silence in many regions of the country today. The President is worried about destabilizing the country and the opposition parties are busy trying to topple the government. Askar Mamin, the country's top populist leader, has been accused of corruption for so long that he reluctantly resigned as Prime Minister last January to quell the unrest. Mamin has a security shield called Putin on the international stage. He has close friendship with Russia. But now Mamin is marginalized. Alihan Smeylov is now Prime Minister of Kazakhstan. He was the Deputy Prime Minister and now he has taken over the helm of the country but the riots have not calmed down yet. Many countries of the world are going through the same situation as the Kazakh people.

Many countries have come to the surface of an unseen global recession. The common knowledge that the lower the economic strength, the greater the impact of recession also applies to Kazakhstan. Two thousand Russian troops have been stationed here after President Tokayev sought Russian help, which the Kazakh people resent. Tokayev has maintained balanced trade relations with both communist countries, Russia and China. Russia has always wanted that Kazakhstan should not develop relations with other countries except Russia. But Tokayev did not accept such bias. In the new government that came after the fall of the Askar Mamin government, eleven of the eighteen ministers were in the old government. So the people who aspire for radical change will not achieve anything.
