Delhi talk: BJP-Akali alliance to defeat AAP in Punjab

New Delhi: BJP has started looking for allies before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. As part of this, there is a possibility that BJP and Akali Dal will join hands again in Punjab. A top Akali Dal leader has admitted that both the BJP and the Akali Dal are keen to re-align and the BJP is mulling over options on which other parties, including the Akali Dal, can be brought together to form a front in Punjab.

After the Aam Aadmi Party captured power in Punjab by defeating the Congress, it is a question of survival for the BJP and the Akali Dal. This is why both need to come together. Akali Dal and BJP were together for almost two decades. The two parties also contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections together, but in 2020, the Akali Dal broke away from the BJP, expressing displeasure over the agricultural laws. It seems necessary to come together now that AAP will come to power in the next assembly elections.

Head to bring Mayawati to the opposition front

When there is an opposition rally in Bihar's capital Patna on June 23, during this rally, the top leaders of the opposition will strategize what to do to stop the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Opposition sources say that the opposition is preparing a strategy to fight directly with the BJP on 450 out of 543 Lok Sabha seats. Meaning, there will be only one candidate from the opposition on these 450 seats. The focus of this strategy will be Uttar Pradesh as it is most important to stop the BJP in Uttar Pradesh which has 80 Lok Sabha seats.

Opposition leaders believe that BJP can be stopped if there is a grand alliance of Congress, SP and BSP in UP as in Bihar. In 2019, SP and BSP were united but not with Congress, BJP got the benefit. The opposition leader admits that it is difficult to convince Mayawati but it is necessary to defeat the BJP.

Controversy over cancellation of bungalow allotted to Aap Chadha

A controversy has arisen after the Rajya Sabha Secretariat sent a notice to Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha asking him to vacate the bungalow. Usually first-time MPs are given Type-5 accommodation, but Chadha was given a luxurious Type-7 bungalow.

Now Raghav Chadha has gone to the court asking Achan Chadha to vacate the bungalow. Chadha says that Rajya Sabha Chairperson Jagdeep Dhankhad had approved the allotment of Type-7 bungalow to him, but the Rajya Sabha Secretariat has canceled the allotment of the bungalow without giving any reason.

Sources in the Rajya Sabha Secretariat claim that when the house was allotted to Raghav Chadha in September, there was no one as chairman of the housing committee. When the present chairman CM Ramesh took charge on 2nd November 2023, this came to his attention and he canceled the allotment and allotted a new building. Chadha says that the allotment of the building does not need anyone's approval after approval by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhad.

Bajrang Sena has played the Hindutva card by inducting the Congress into Madhya Pradesh ahead of the assembly elections later this year. Workers of the Hindu organization Bajrang Sena reached the state office of the Madhya Pradesh Congress with great fanfare and gave mace and mementos to Kamal Nath announcing their support to the Congress. Bajrang Sena has shifted to Congress because of Deepak Joshi who went from BJP to Congress. Deepak's father late Kailash Joshi was the Chief Minister of the BJP government.

The aim of Hindutva organization Bajrang Sena is to protect Gauvansh and Hindu saints. The Bajrang Sena fights to build shelters for cow herds and provide monthly stipends to temple priests. The national president of Bajrang Sena, Ranvir Pateria, claims that Bajrang Sena, which was established 10 years ago in Chhatarpur district of Bundelkhand, now has branches in more than 12 states. The school uniform consists of a white hijab but many girls wear black or a different colored designer hijab.

Letter from three BJP MPs to Rahul

A letter written by three BJP MPs Rajyavardhan Rathore, Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma and Poonam Mahaj to Rahul Gandhi has gone viral. All three BJP MPs have accused Rahul of spreading hatred against India during his visit to America.

BJP MPs have written that it was great to hear about Rahul Gandhi's 'Mohabbat ki shop' but it would have been better if his party had actually followed this path. Unfortunately, there is a big difference between what Congress says and what it does. Spreading hatred for Congress and the Gandhi family is not new. If you turn the pages of the history of the Gandhi family, you will find many stories of hatred. This family has opened a mega mall of hate in the country.

BJP sources say that these three MPs are not in the high command's good book now. He has written a letter to win the attention of the party leadership.
