Delhi talk: BJP-JDS will unite to defeat Congress in Karnataka

New Delhi: Following the grand victory of the Congress in Karnataka, the BJP has started looking for allies in South India. Even in Karnataka BJP former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda and his son Kumaraswamy are considering joining the JDS. JDS's political survival is also threatened as Muslim votes shift towards Congress in Karnataka. Because of this, JDS also seems eager to tie up with BJP.

When asked a question on this issue, H.D. Deve Gowda bewilderedly asked, Show me a Party which has not allied with the BJP in any way? HD Analysts believe that Deve Gowda's answer shows his readiness to tie up with the BJP. HD Dev Gowda has been invited by Nitish Kumar to attend the Patna rally on June 23 but H.D. Deve Gowda will not be present. As part of preparation for alliance with BJP, H.D. Deve Gowda is believed to have distanced himself from other opposition leaders.

The decision to arrest Brijbhushan was left to the court

It is reported that an agreement has been reached between the wrestlers and the Government regarding the arrest of BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharansingh. Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik held a marathon meeting with Sports Minister Anurag Thakur in Delhi on Wednesday. Sources claim that, in this meeting, it was assured that the charge sheet will be filed after completion of the investigation by June 15 and if the court feels that the arrest of Brijbhushan is necessary, further action will be taken as per the order of the court.

After the meeting with Thakur, Sakshi Malik did not give such details but admitted that the central government has asked for time till June 15 to complete the investigation. The wrestlers have been appealed not to protest until the investigation is over. The wrestlers accepted this request and postponed the agitation till June 15, but the agitation of the wrestlers is not over yet.

Congress MLA's claim, we will win if Gehlot moves

Amid the ongoing conflict between Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot in Rajasthan, Congress MLA Bharat Singh Kundnarpur has made a strange statement. Kunpur claims that if Gehlot announces that he is not a contender for the chief ministership and promotes youth leadership, the Congress can return to 100 percent power. Kundanpur also quipped that the intoxication of power is more than the intoxication of alcohol, so there is no hope that Gehlot would do that.

Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh had reached Randhawa in Kundanpur Rajasthan. After meeting Randhawa, he made this statement to the media, leaving the rest of the Congress leaders stunned.

However, Sukhjinder Randhawa hit back and said that those who ask others to wake up for the youth should step back and set an example. Randhawa also denied that Kundanpur had discussed the issue of Gehlot's withdrawal in the meeting with him.

Das listened to the government, did not increase the interest

The Reserve Bank of India has given relief to the Modi government by leaving the repo rate unchanged for the second consecutive two-month period. Earlier, the Reserve Bank did not make any changes in April and kept the interest rate at 6.50 percent. Sources say that due to assembly elections in five states, the government does not want interest rates to increase now. Due to this, there was a lot of pressure on Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das not to raise the government's interest rate. Das wanted to give one more dose of interest rate hike for economic stability but finally agreed to take the government's word and not raise the interest rate now.

The government argued that the rate of inflation has come down slightly in the last few months so there should be no change in the repo rate. Das argued that while inflation has come under control, the inflation rate is still above the target, hence a drastic dose is required.

Nitish-Mamata active to bring Jagan, KCR, Navin

Nitish Kumar has finally succeeded in bringing the anti-BJP parties on one platform ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. In the rally to be held in Patna on June 23, Mamata Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, Hemant Soren, Arvind Kejriwal, Akhilesh Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Uddhav Thackeray and M.K. Stalin will be present.

Mamata Banerjee and Nitish Kumar Naveen Patnaik, Jagan Mohan Reddy and K. Chandrasekhar Rao is also trying to be present. JDU sources claim that there is a strong possibility that these three leaders will be present. Jagan will move towards the opposition front as the BJP moves to align with Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Nitish likened the rally to the 1965 rally of Ram Manohar Lohia and the 1974 rally with Jaiprakash Narayan to build massive mass support in North India to defeat the BJP. Congress lost power at the center after JP's rally.

'SIT' to probe Jiva murder in UP

While the Uttar Pradesh government has ordered a special investigation team to investigate the murder of the notorious criminal Sanjeev Maheshwari alias Jeevan in the Lucknow court, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav said that the law and order situation in the state is understood by the murder. Instead of appointing GDP in the state, work is being done with the officiating DGP! SP president Mayawati has described this incident as a big challenge for the UP government in terms of crime control. The UP Congress has alleged that the Yogi government has completely failed to fight crime.

BJP cautions against defection in Rajasthan

Smaller political parties are becoming more popular in the Rajya Sabha. Their existence is more visible on the surface. The new organizations are expected to offer more options to ticket aspirants in the upcoming assembly elections in the state. In this political environment, the state leadership of Rajasthan is ready for BJP's own members to enter into tough bargaining with the party. In a meeting between former Chief Minister Vasundhararaje and the party's National General Secretary (Organization) BL Santosh at the party headquarters on Wednesday, the issues of insurgency and ticket distribution were discussed in addition to reorganization in the organization. The party leadership believes that the party leadership will have to work hard to tackle the insurgency within the party as the election ticket aspirants are now likely to have more options.

Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has assured Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that all Samajwadi Party MPs will stand by Kejriwal on the proposed bill to be introduced in the Rajya Sabha by the Centre, replacing the recent ordinance. Brijbhushan helped BJP in Goa in 2017

Despite the fact that some Indian women wrestlers have come out against BJP MP and former president of the Wrestling Federation of India Brijbhushan Sharansingh for more than a month, despite the iron silence maintained by the BJP on the issue, the power in Goa is believed to be in place. The answer to how the BJP was able to form the government six years ago despite losing the Goa assembly year election in 2017 lies in Brijbhushan's performance. At that time, the BJP brought Brijbhushan into the picture in the final stages of negotiations with the Goa Forward Party (GFP) to form the government. Goa state BJP president Sadanand Tanawade said that he (Sadanandji) was not at all aware of the role Brijbhushan was playing to win the Goa regional party called GFP to the negotiating table. As per the wish of BJP, Brijbhushan completed his work successfully and in 2017, BJP government was formed in Goa. This is why Brijbhushan has, for now, been able to remain "safe" despite the nationwide outcry from women wrestlers.
