Delhi talk: Brijbhushan had to cancel the Ayodhya Maharalli

New Delhi: BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, who is facing allegations of sexual exploitation of women wrestlers, played the Hindutva card against the wrestlers and announced a Maharalli in Ayodhya on June 5, but Singh had to cancel the Ayodhya Maharalli. Sources say that a number of women MPs of the BJP have made representations about the investigation against Brijbhushan, and the high command has ordered Singh to cancel the rally. Copies of both the FIRs registered against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh have circulated in the media. Both Brijbhushan and Secretary Vinod Tomar are prime accused in the complaint. The wrestlers allege that Brijbhushan allegedly molested them several times. They touched him badly and took off his T-shirt on the pretext of checking his breath. Women MPs have suggested a speedy investigation against Brijbhushan due to these allegations.

BJP's ideology, your behavior, what about Congress?

The Ashok Gehlot government of Congress has announced to provide free electricity to the first 100 units of power consumers in Rajasthan. When assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan this year, Ashok Gehlot has staked a claim for relief in electricity bills. Gehlot has also implemented the Rs 500 cooking gas cylinder scheme in Rajasthan.

After Gehlot's announcement, there is now a joke that the Congress follows the BJP in ideology and talks about Hindutva, while in practice it follows the Aam Aadmi Party in giving freebies to the people. Given this, where is Congress's own originality?

Congress has won the Karnataka assembly election by giving promises including monthly assistance of two thousand rupees to women. Due to this, Congress is finding this scheme effective. Even in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress is playing the card of advertising to people for free.

Pritam spoke against BJP's Mardani, Brijbhushan

While the women leaders of the BJP are silent on the issue of former Wrestling Federation of India president Brijbhushan Sharan Singh's sexual exploitation of women wrestlers, the Munde sisters are being lauded for daring to speak out. BJP MP Pritam Munde said that the complaints of women wrestlers should be immediately investigated and action should be taken. Pritam's sister Pankaja has also raised her voice on the issue.

People are praising Pritam's courage on social media. While the male leaders of BJP are also silent on the harassment of wrestlers' daughters, everyone is commenting that Pritam has shown masculinity. People are also posting this video of BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi in which Lekhi ran away after being asked a question about Brijbhushan and left in a car.

There is resentment among other BJP women leaders against Brijbhushan, but the high command does not show any courage as Brijbhushan is on the side.

Prana Pratishtha in Ram Mandir before Lok Sabha Elections

Before the Lok Sabha elections, the shrine of Ramlalla's idol has been prepared in the Sriram temple being built in Ayodhya so that the BJP can benefit from it in the elections. Sources say that Ramlalla's idol in the sanctum sanctorum at Sriram Mandir will be enshrined in December or January. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust will conduct a program of Prana Pratishtha at the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The date of this program has not been decided yet but discussions are going on with academics.

General Secretary of the Trust, Champat Rai, has announced that the ground floor and sanctum sanctorum work of Shri Ram Mandir will be completed by December 15. After this, preparations will be made for pranapratistha. The Prime Minister will be informed about the possible date of the program between December 15 and January 26, 2024.

The invitation card made by Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri will be sent to the Prime Minister with the signature of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. Shri Ramlalla's death festival will be celebrated for 7 days across the country.

Hindutva card of Congress, Dharma Sabha in every constituency

To gain power in Madhya Pradesh, the Congress will focus on the issue of Hindutva and as part of this, religious programs will be held in all the 230 assembly constituencies of the state in the run up to the assembly elections. The 'Religious and Utsav Prakostha' created by the state Congress president Kamal Nath has been asked to prepare a blueprint for organizing 108 religious events.

A statewide tour of Richa Goswami, president of this chamber, will also be held. Congress leaders are confident that 32-year-old Richa Goswami will become the trump card of the Congress in Madhya Pradesh elections. Richa Goswami, as head of the religious and festival-promoting wing, is busy preparing to finalize the Hindutva-based campaign of the Congress at the Madhya Pradesh Mahila Congress office.

Kamal Nath has promised to provide monthly assistance of Rs 1,500 and LPG cylinders to women as part of Nari Samman Yojana if the Congress comes to power. The announcement was made amid the recitation of Richa Goswami's Sundarkanda from the Ramayana.

Uddhav met Pawar Shinde abroad

The political speculation market is hot as Sharad Pawar visits Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's official residence Varsha Bangla. Former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is currently out of Maharashtra and there are speculations that the two leaders will meet.

Pawar tweeted that he himself met Shinde to invite him to the event held on the occasion of the Amrit Mahotsav anniversary of the Maratha temple in Mumbai. He has discussed with Shinde to hold a meeting to know the problems of artists and artisans of Marathi film, theater and art sector in Maharashtra.

However, politically there are speculations that the BJP wants to bring the NCP into the NDA and hence has started efforts to convince Pawar through Eknath Shinde. This is his first meeting with Pawar after Shide became Chief Minister. NCP sources say that there is no question of alliance with BJP or Shinde.

Accused of sexual harassment will not hold rally in Ayodhya

BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharansingh, who has been accused of sexually harassing a minor sportsperson besides prominent women wrestlers of the country, will not hold the Ayodhya rally on June 5, baffled by growing demands for his detention. Earlier, representatives of 50 Pak organizations held a meeting in Muzaffarnagar in support of the wrestlers. The group will meet President Draupadi Murmu to press for action against Singh. The central government itself has declared that it is handling the issue sensitively. Singh has cited the ongoing police investigation and Supreme Court directives against him. In the Ayodhya rally to be held on June 5, there is a possibility that the Saints of Ayodhya will be seen on the stage along with Singh.

Pilots have hope in mind : predictions from video

The Congress high command has recently calmed the internal rift between state Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his former deputy ally Sachin Pilot in Rajasthan, which is creeping closer to elections. Prior to this peace, the two groups had been sparring for months. Now that the party leadership is trying to portray that all is well in the Rajasthan Congress, a fresh tweet by Pilot has raised speculations in political circles. In a video story posted by the pilot on his Twitter handle, he is seen with Rajasthanis. His video is titled: I have a hope in my mind, a belief in my heart. We will build a strong Rajasthan, where there is unity among the people. Each slide of the video covers the pilot. Neither any other Congressman is prominent in it, nor even the party symbol.

Rahul Gandhi termed the Muslim League as secular

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who is touring America, said in an interaction with the National Press Club in Washington DC that the Muslim League is a purely secular party. The questioning journalist seems not to have studied the Muslim League. While Rahul Gandhi's American marriage has sparked controversy, his ideas about the Muslim League have been slammed by the BJP. BJP's Amit Malviya said that if Rahul Gandhi wanted to remain acceptable in his former constituency Wayanad (Kerala), the Muslim League had to be called secular. Muhammad Ali Jinnah's Muslim League party, which is responsible for the division of the country on religious lines, is secular in Rahul Gandhi's view, Malviya said, adding that Rahul is a hypocrite and a harmful personality.

Appointment of VC, Trinamool mind illegal

West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose's appointment of 10 senior professors as vice-chancellors of government universities has led to an impasse as the Trinamool Congress, the ruling party of the state, called it illegal. State Education Minister Vratya Basu has requested the professors to reject his appointment. It may be noted that the Calcutta High Court recently quashed the state government's decision to extend the tenure of 29 vice-chancellors. Citing the UGC rule that for the appointment of a vice-chancellor, the recommendation of a three-member search committee consisting of a representative of the UGC (University Grants Commission), the governor and a government representative is required, the High Court quashed the state government's decision to extend the tenure of 29 vice-chancellors. It is also significant that no official statement has been made from the Raj Bhavan regarding the appointment of 29 Vice Chancellors.

Damage to statue : Inquiry by Lokayukta

The Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta has initiated an inquiry into the recent wind damage to six of the seven idols installed in the Mahakal Lok Corridor at the Mahakaleshwar temple in the state's Ujjain district. State Lokayukta Justice N.K. Gupta has automatically taken note of the issue and ordered an investigation. The probe team will visit the corridor site to determine whether a Gujarat-based company, MP Babria Engineers and Civil Contracts, used substandard materials in executing the contract for the statue-installation work in the corridor. It may be noted that the opposition Congress in the state has alleged corruption in the implementation of the Mahakal Lok Corridor project, which the BJP has denied.
