Talking about Delhi: Congress is disappointed after not getting a stay against Rahul's sentence

New Delhi: Congress is disappointed because Rahul Gandhi did not get any relief in the case of defamation of people with surname Modi. In this case Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years by the court of Surat and his post as Member of Parliament has been revoked. Rahul Gandhi will now have to appeal to the High Court as the Additional Sessions Court judge rejected Rahul Gandhi's appeal to stay the sentence imposed by the court.

According to Congress leaders, this judgment is as expected as there was no hope of relief from the Surat court. Due to this, it was announced in advance that neither Rahul's legal team from Delhi nor any big Leader from Gujarat region will be present.

If Rahul's sentence is stayed, his parliamentary seat will be restored. Congress is interested in it but now it seems that it will take at least two-three months when the matter goes to the High Court. If the High Court does not hear quickly, even six months may pass.

Mamata got angry on the news of calling Shah

Mamata Banerjee is furious as rumors spread that Mamata Banerjee called Amit Shah four times while Trinamool Congress's status as a national Party was going away. Mamata denied that if it turns out to be true that she called Amit Shah to restore the status of Trinamool Congress as a national party, I will resign.

Mamata also announced that we will file a case against those who are spreading these lies and we will apologize to all those who are spreading these lies. We have not got this party by anyone's mercy and the name of my party which we have built with hard work will be Akhil Bharatiya Trinamool Congress. Mamata claimed that the BJP will not be able to cross the mark of 200 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Rumors that Mamata called Shah were published on several news portals. BJP workers made this thing go viral and Mamata got worse.

Tricolor hoisted on Atiq-Asad's grave

Congress has suspended Congress leader Rajkumar Singh, who hoisted the tricolor at Atiq Ahmad's grave. Rajkumar Singh alias Rajju hoisted the tricolor on Atiq Ahmed's grave and raised slogans that Atiq Ahmed shall live forever. The video of this incident went viral and Congress had to send Rajju away.

In the video, Rajkumar Singh is seen placing tricolors on Atiq Ahmad's grave and reciting Kalma. Sitting near the grave of Atiq Ahmad, Rajkumar Singh is heard saying that one lakh and twenty four thousand Pir Baba will bring justice to Atiq. Atiq Ahmad you are immortal, will be immortal, I will give you Bharat Ratna. I will honor the martyr. The prince also hoisted the tricolor on the grave of Asad, son of Ashraf and Atiq Ahmad.

Makan in mood to leave Congress over Kejriwal issue

There are speculations that Ajay Maken will quit the Congress after the Congress supported Kejriwal on the issue of Arvind Kejriwal's interrogation by the CBI. After the CBI summoned Kejriwal for questioning in the excise policy case, Mallikarjun Kharge expressed his displeasure to Kejriwal when he spoke to him. No sympathy or support should be shown towards Kejriwal, Makan said. Punjab Congress leader Pratap Singh Bajwa also gave voice to it.

However, ignoring the talk of Bajwa and Maken, the Congress has officially supported Kejriwal. Delhi Congress in-charge Shaktisinh Gohil has termed the Delhi Liquor case as yet another example of misuse by investigative agencies. Months ago, the Congress had said that the allegations against the Arvind Kejriwal government on the Delhi government's excise policy are serious and should be investigated. Another leader is also upset that the Congress has now put the gallows.

Shinde's chimki, if Ajit comes, we will withdraw

Shiv Sena is on fire following reports that BJP will join hands with Ajit Pawar in Maharashtra. For the last few days there have been speculations that NCP leader Ajit Pawar along with 40 MLAs may leave NCP and join hands with BJP. While Ajit Pawar has dismissed this news as false, Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena has also given an indirect warning to the BJP.

Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Shirsat has said in clear words that if Ajit Pawar joins BJP with NCP leaders or joins with BJP, Shiv Sena under the leadership of Eknath Shinde will break alliance with BJP and will not be part of Maharashtra government.

BJP sources say that BJP wants the same. Eknath Shinde cannot bring the Shiv Sena workers to his side so the BJP may suffer a blow in the Lok Sabha elections. This is why BJP wants to destroy Shinde.

Disagreement in SP-RLD, sign of alliance breakdown

The alliance between Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party (SP) and Jayant Chaudhary's Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) over the mayoralty issue in Meerut in the UP local Swaraj elections is a sign of a break. Both the parties have decided to jointly contest the urban local swaraj elections in Uttar Pradesh but the Meerut issue has reached an impasse.

Samajwadi Party has announced that Seema Pradhan, wife of MLA Atul Pradhan, will contest the election for Mayor of Meerut. RLD wants to field its own candidate towards Bija. Senior RLD leaders have hinted that if the SP does not move in Meerut, the alliance will break.

The SP has announced that it will not contest elections in Manata Baraut and Baghpat, the strongholds of the RLD, but there are also differences between the two parties on the issue of the chairmanship of Mwana and Khekhda Nagar Palika.

This alliance has been going on since the two joined hands in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Although this alliance did not succeed in the 2022 assembly elections, the RLD did not break ties with the SP.

Speaking to reporters after addressing a workshop at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur, he said that there is no bigger platform than the Assembly House for any MLA to raise any issue. At that time, apart from the Chief Minister, the entire opposition is also present in the house, so a discussion can be held there. The Chief Minister has to answer there, Randhawa added.
