Talking about Delhi: Modi upset over tickets to relatives of MPs-legislators

NEW DELHI: BJP sources have made a shocking claim while wondering why the BJP was late in announcing its candidates for the Karnataka assembly elections. According to him, tickets were largely given to the children of sitting MLAs and MPs in the BJP list.

However, Narendra Modi disapproved of this list, expressing his distaste for giving tickets to the children of sitting MLAs and MPs. Modi is also said to have made a comment that the BJP itself cannot go that way, accusing the Congress of nepotism. Following Modi's displeasure, the announcement of the candidates has been delayed as the search for the new list has now started.

Earlier there were indications that BJP has selected candidates for 140 seats. The BJP could announce its first list of candidates by Monday evening, but this announcement was not made. Congress has announced its first list in Karnataka.

Fasting of the pilot by mocking Congress Chimki

All eyes are on what the Congress will do now that Sachin Pilot is on a fast after drinking the scum of the Congress. Before the fast began against the Ashok Gehlot government's failure to take action against corruption under BJP rule, the Congress termed it an anti-Party activity. Sukhjindersinh Ranghawa, Rajasthan in-charge of Congress, said that if there is any objection against the government, it should be resolved by discussing it within the party instead of going against it. Instead going on a fast is not in the interest of the party and hence will be considered an anti-party activity.

There has been an uproar in the Congress over the announcement. It is clear that a new fight has started in the Congress due to Sachin's attacks on Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a press conference.

Sachin Pilot has alleged that the Gehlot government has failed to investigate corruption and scams during Vasundhara Raje's tenure.

You started the Show Degree campaign

Lieutenant Governor of Delhi V.K. After Saxena called Arvind Kejriwal uneducated despite having an IIT degree, the Aam Aadmi Party has launched the show degrees campaign. Delhi Government Education Minister Atishi Marlena announced that the AAP leader will present his degree in front of the country every day. I have three degrees BA from Delhi University, MA from Oxford University and Second Masters from Oxford University. I will put these three degrees in front of people.

Atishi termed Saxena's statement as an insult to IITs and said that Indians educated from IITs have become CEOs in big companies of the world and the Lt. Governor is questioning IITs. It is an insult to the institution to call a degree holder from an institution that makes the country proud to be uneducated. Such talk can only be expected from leaders who do not have degrees. Atishi has also challenged Sasaksena to show his degree.

Mamata-Pawar's party is no longer a national party

The Election Commission has withdrawn the National Party status of the Trinamool Congress, the National Congress Party (NCP) and the Communist Party of India while recognizing the Aam Aadmi Party as a national party. Following the Election Commission's announcement, there are now only five national parties left in the country. As the vote share of these three parties has decreased to less than 6 percent across the country, their status is no longer that of a regional party. Earlier, the national party status was withdrawn from the BSP following the crushing defeat in UP.

In order to become a national party, the Aam Aadmi Party needed to get more than 6 percent votes in Gujarat or Himachal Pradesh. AAP has become a national party with about 13 percent votes in Gujarat. A party gets the status of a national party only if it gets more than 6 percent votes in four states in the Lok Sabha or assembly elections. AAP has secured more than 6 percent votes in Delhi, Punjab and Goa assembly elections.

Rahul met to reveal his name: Azad

Ghulam Nabi Azad, teased by Rahul Gandhi calling himself a BJP agent, has claimed that Rahul Gadhi is meeting unwanted businessmen abroad with whom no one wants to associate. I can give 10 such examples. Rahul Gandhi should tell who is this businessman whom he met and why this meeting took place.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad also held a press conference and asked Rahul, echoing Azad's tune, that Rahul should tell which businessman he is meeting and what is your agenda? Rahul Gandhi is trying to weaken India at the behest of anti-India businessmen and working against Modi?

However, people are calling the talk of Azad and Prasad ridiculous. People are saying that instead of asking Rahul, why don't you reveal the names of those people?

Amul's entry issue in Karnataka elections

The issue of Amul's entry in the Karnataka assembly elections is buzzing. Amul tweeted on April 5 that Amul will meet the demand for fresh milk and other dairy products in Bengaluru. Following this announcement, Congress leaders have accused the BJP of conspiring to destroy Karnataka's local brand Nandini. A confused BJP leader is claiming that the Nandini brand will be saved.

Hashtags like #savenandini and #Gobakamul are trending on Twitter after Amul's announcement. As opposed to Amul milk, all hotels in Bengaluru have also unanimously decided to use only Nandini's products to support local animal farmers.

Nandini milk is the cheapest in India. Nandini toned milk is available at just Rs 39 per liter in Bangalore, while the same milk of Amul brand is available at Rs 54 per liter in Delhi and Rs 52 per liter in Gujarat. Nandini curd is also available at a price of Rs 47 per kg.

Less than five thousand victory margin in 30 seats in Karnataka

In Karnataka, the BJP lost 16 seats in 2018 by less than five thousand votes, according to the statistics of that year's assembly elections. In that too, the party lost 12 seats by less than three thousand votes. BJP won 104 out of 224 seats and emerged as the single largest party. The Congress won 78 seats and then formed a government together with Janata Dal Secular which won 37 seats which lasted for 14 months. Observers of Karnataka say that the BJP won the election in 2019 due to 17 Congress-JDS rebels but if the BJP had only focused on the 16 seats it lost by 5,000 votes, it could have won the election.

The biggest challenge facing the BJP is internal conflict

Insiders say that the BJP's performance in Karnataka depends on how well it can avoid infighting within the party and how well its public welfare policies can be embraced by the people. Top BJP leaders have ordered state leaders to bury internal differences and fight the Congress unitedly. The BJP now wants to make inroads into the strongholds of the JD(S) and the Congress.

Pawar's play can puncture opposition unity

PM Modi's degree NCP chief Sharad Pawar questioned whether this issue is important. He said raise the right issues. Thus Sharad Pawar has shown a different attitude from the opposition leaders. Apart from this, Sharad Pawar said for the first time about the report on businessman Gautam Gadani that this report was targeted. He said whether degree is a big issue before the country. He asked reporters if your degree or my degree matters now. Is this a political issue? The important issues are inflation, unemployment, law and order and the central government should target these issues. He said this while speaking at Nashik in Maharashtra. This attitude of Pawar can seriously affect the unity of the opposition.
