Delhi talk: Gehlot openly criticized Indira's crisis

New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot compared the current state of the country with Indira Gandhi's emergency situation while Congressmen are upset but people are praising him on social media. Gehlot made this comment about the police going to Rahul Gandhi's house to get his answer.

Gehlot said that even though Rahul Gandhi has received the notice and has to respond to it, the police have gone to his house. This behavior is reminiscent of Indira Gandhi's time of crisis.

People are commenting that Gehlot has shown great courage by saying that Indira Gandhi did wrong. No one else among the Congressmen can do such a dare.

Karnataka post-election decision on Rahul's suspension

There is a lot of brainstorming going on in the BJP regarding the move to revoke Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha membership for the statements he made in Britain. A section in the BJP believes that by taking this step, the BJP will make Rahul a hero.

BJP has demanded cancellation of Rahul's membership. Accepting this demand, Lok Sabha Speaker can form a special committee and conduct an investigation. The committee can remove Rahul's membership by bringing a motion in the House if the allegations against him are justified.

BJP has majority in Lok Sabha this is not a difficult task but BJP is confused about its political implications. In the past, leaders from Subramanian Swamy to Indira have been disenfranchised, but those leaders have emerged stronger. Some senior leaders have also warned that if Rahul's membership is cancelled, the BJP may suffer a blow in the Karnataka assembly elections. Because of this, it is very likely that the BJP will take a decision on this after the Karnataka assembly elections.

BJP eyes on 12 percent vote bank in Bihar

In Bihar, the BJP is gearing up to play the Saurn plus Dalit plus non-Yadav OBC card to defeat the duo of Nitish Kumar and Tejashwi Yadav. As part of this strategy, BJP has started efforts to woo Upendra Kushwaha, Chirag Paswan and Mukesh Sahni. Pashupatinath Paras is already with BJP so BJP feels that this strategy will work.

Among these three leaders, Chirag Paswan is the leader of the Scheduled Caste i.e. Dalit community while Kushwaha is the leader of the Kushwaha community, another backward class. Sahni belongs to the Mallah community, considered a very backward class. These three communities account for more than 12 percent of Bihar's population. With Lalu Prasad, Nitish Kumar and four other smaller parties in the grand coalition of the Congress, they have 10 percent more votes than the BJP. BJP will win over Nitish-Lalu with the help of Chirag, Kushwaha and Sahni.

Congress pride on Mamata-Akhilesh alliance issue

While Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress and Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party have hinted at forming a third front, the Congress has claimed that no opposition front can be strong without the Congress. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh denied that. Whatever anti-BJP front is formed, Congress must be in it.

First stay in Kashmir after three and a half years

Three and a half years after the Modi government abrogated Article 370 in 2019, Jammu and Kashmir has finally received its first foreign direct investment. Dubai-based Burj Khalifa developer Emaar Properties has announced an investment of Rs 500 crore in Jammu and Kashmir. Emaar will build a shopping mall and high-rise building on the outskirts of Srinagar. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha laid the foundation stone of the Rs 500 crore project and claimed that this project will provide employment to more than 10 thousand people in the Kashmir valley.

This investment is very small given that the Emaar Group is very large. Even after the removal of Article 370, foreign investment has not come in Kashmir, so it is believed that the government has made this symbolic investment so that other companies also come forward for investment. There may be more investment in Kashmir by companies from Muslim countries. Indian companies are still afraid to go to Kashmir.

Controversy after advertisement of film on Tipu's death

The announcement of a film on the death of Tipu Sultan before the assembly elections in Karnataka has created political heat. Muniratna Naidu, the ruling BJP minister in Karnataka, has claimed that he will make a film on the killers of Tipu Sultan. For this he is in conversation with the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce.

Munirath claims that Uri and Nanje Gowda, two chieftains of the Vokkaliga community, killed Tipu Sultan. It is wrong to say that Tipu died fighting against the British. Naidu will produce the film under his own production house banner. Higher Education Minister Ashwattha Narayan will script the film.

HD Kumaraswamy has warned that the BJP's claim will have serious repercussions. He says that this film will strain the relationship between the Vokkaliga and the Muslim community. There is no point in making a film on fictional stories or fictional characters. The Vokkaliga community is considered the vote bank of the JDS.

Crack visions in opposition unity!

The opposition does not allow Parliament to function, but there are signs of cracks. Take a look at the current statements of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav: Of these two leaders who met recently, Mamata attacked the BJP and said that the BJP is making Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a hero. Rahul has become Modi's biggest TRP. On the other hand, Akhilesh Yadav made it clear that the Samajwadi Party will not tie up with any party. The party will single-handedly contest all 80 seats of UP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Controversy over educational qualification of BJP MP

Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra has challenged the credibility of BJP MP Nishikant Dubey's educational qualifications with reference to the affidavit submitted to the Election Commission. Dubey, in response, said that Delhi University does not respond to RTIs. He presented the Election Commission documents. Dubey is an MP from Godda in Jharkhand. Moitra said in a series of tweets on Friday that Dubey had mentioned in his affidavits submitted during the 2009 and 2014 elections that he had completed a part-time course in Delhi University and completed his MBA. Mahua has also shared Delhi University's reply to an RTI sent to her. The University of Delhi has replied that no candidate named Dubey was admitted to the university in the academic year 1993 nor was any such candidate passed in that year.

Four ACS officers from Assam suspended

Four officers of the Assam Civil Service have been suspended for misappropriating funds in the implementation of works from the MP Local Area Development Fund. The Special Vigilance Cell of the Chief Minister conducted an inquiry into the allegations against the officials, who found irregularities in the implementation of the works and the utilization of funds from the funds of Rajya Sabha MP Ajith Kumar Bhuyan for the years 2021-22 and 2022-23. Anna DMK - BJP alliance, on the verge of breaking

Another controversy has created more tension between the two allies in Tamil Nadu as the two parties are in a war of words over All India AnnaDMK's rout of BJP leaders and bringing them into its fold. In the incident, Tamil Nadu state BJP president K. Annamalai is believed to have said that he would resign from the post and work as a general worker of the party if the alliance with AnnaDMK continued in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

It is sad to see Indians kneeling before China

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi claimed that External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar does not understand the impending threat to India from China. Days after this, Jaishankar said at the India Today Conclave held in New Delhi that as an Indian citizen, it is painful to see an Indian salivating against China and India being sidelined. Jaishankar was answering questions about his (Jaishankar's) thoughts on Rahul Gandhi's recent speeches in England.
