Talking about Delhi: Modi was praised in the Muslim convention

New Delhi: In a BBC documentary, the BJP has implemented a strategy of praising the Government by Muslims to refute the claim that Muslims are in a bad condition under BJP rule in India. As a part of it, Modi has been praised in the Ahmadiyya Muslim convention. At the All India Minority Conclave, Ahmadiyya Muslims said that the government's decision on triple talaq is laudable and will lead to the empowerment of Muslim women.

Claiming that Modi has done commendable work for the welfare of minorities in his immortality, the leaders said, good work should always be appreciated. During Modi's tenure, the focus has been on the development of Muslims. Other leaders of Muslim organizations were also present in this program. It was resolved in the convention that the Modi government is working for the development of the minority community without discrimination. No government has done this before.

Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has intensified its efforts to convert Muslims to its side. Ahmadiyya Muslims are at the center along with Pasmanda and Sufi Muslims.

State president eats beef and BJP shut up!

When Nagaland and Meghalaya are going to vote for the assembly elections on February 27, Meghalaya BJP president Ernest Mawri's statement has gone viral. Mawari says that he himself eats beef and BJP leaders have never stopped him. Even the BJP high command has never said anything about eating cow's meat and has not come to a halt.

This statement has gone viral only when two youths from Rajasthan were burnt alive in BJP-ruled Haryana over beef issue. Due to this, BJP is being criticized for having a double standard. The BJP opposes eating cow meat in most states while its state president is silent on the fact that he openly talks about eating cow meat himself. As 75% of Meghalaya's population is Christian, BJP has no objection to eating cow meat to attract them.

Now investigation in espionage case against Sisodia

A case has been ordered against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for espionage. Sisodia has been accused of being spied on by the feedback unit. In this case, the Union Home Ministry has ordered the CBI to file a case against Manish Sisodia under the Prevention of Corruption Act. The CBI sought permission to file a case against Sisodia and other officials. The Ministry of Home Affairs has approved this application.

The Delhi government formed a feedback unit in 2015 and appointed 20 officers. The CBI alleged that the unit spied on political rivals and opponents between February 2016 and September 2016. The unit spied not only on BJP but also on Aam Aadmi Party leaders.

The CBI is also investigating the liquor policy case against Sisodia. Sisodia's place has already been raided in this case. CBI will also question Sisodia on February 26 in this case.

Shivaraj surrendered to Uma

The Shivraj Singh Chauhan government has announced the closure of 'Ahtas' built next to liquor shops and shop bars to appease Uma Bharti. Uma alleged that youths sit in 'Ahta' and drink alcohol and then go home and commit mischief. As Uma took an aggressive stance on this issue, the Shivraj government has decided to close the 'ahtas' made for drinking alcohol.

BJP sources consider this decision as a big victory for Uma Bharti. However, it is too much to assume that this will increase the stature of Uma in Madhya Pradesh politics or that the BJP will give it more importance. Uma Bharti resigned from the government in 2018 citing health reasons. After that, Uma joined the Ganga cleaning campaign. Uma returned to Madhya Pradesh last year after working on cleaning the Ganges for a long time and wants to return to the center of politics in Madhya Pradesh.

Army-withdrawal from Kashmir: Statistics not backing it up

A source-based report has quoted 'officials in the security establishment' to report that the central government is considering a complete withdrawal of the Indian Army from the Kashmir Valley. If approved, the army will remain only along the Line of Control, the report said. Why not a documentary about the anti-Sikh riots of '84?

Furthering the official criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) for its recent coverage of the 2002 Gujarat riots, External Affairs Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar has accused the BBC of playing politics and asked why it did not make a documentary on the 1984 anti-learning riots. The violence of 2002 happened under BJP rule, while the Sikh massacre of 1984 happened under Congress rule. It can be speculated that Jaishankar wants to create a case that BBC is favoring Congress through such an allegation. However, a quick search of 38-year-old video and text records on the Internet revealed that not only did the BBC cover the 1984 riots, but it repeatedly reported on the event. In 2010, the BBC broadcast a documentary-length cartoon titled 1984: A Sikh Story.
