Destination weddings have done away with awnings

India's marriage market is growing at the rate of 200 percent. Currently, this market has a turnover of 3.75 lakh crores

On Wednesday, on one hand, when the budget proposals were being read out, on the other hand, money was flying in weddings. Measures for simplicity are rarely seen in marriages. Due to the appearance of the rich, the middle class is also stretched and in debt. Those who say that they have to do so many transactions have a long list of transactions in their hands. Group weddings are also held on a large scale in society, on the other hand, weddings are also seen in banquet halls between 50 people from both parties. Charitable organizations that arrange marriages in temples or at cheap rates are also becoming useful in the society. But it doesn't have a bhapka.

In large families, the people who come to the wedding come the day before. When everyone gets together, naturally they used to sing Antkadi or wedding songs, which the marriage planning agencies have made a part of the business by giving people a new perspective by giving it a metaphorical name like Sangeet Sandhya. That is, before the wedding, the music evening has to be celebrated with professional musicians. For that, family members are charged with preparing to perform on stage months in advance. Earlier, weddings used to last for weeks, but only close family members were present, whereas now, people from the business circle dine separately, those associated with politics dine separately, those associated with social relations dine separately. New systems like separate dining have increased costs. Many new types of systems have been developed by marriage planners.

In the budget of lavish weddings, 30 percent is allocated for menu service and catering, 19 percent for gifts, 14 percent for decorations, 12 percent for event planning, 8 percent for honeymoon, and 3 percent for photography. Every year, the cost of jewelery bought for weddings is 60,000 crores, 5000 crores are booked for hotel rooms, 10,000 crores are spent on clothes. Bollywood matrimonial sites can be said to have created a platform for two dignitaries to come closer. People see and imitate people's wedding photos and dresses on social networks. People study wedding photos and styles on Instagram.

There was a time when people used to get married in the courtyard, if there was a wedding in a hall, they kept an awning tied outside the house, but now the destination wedding has omitted the awning. E-Invite means Electronic Invitation has eliminated the hassle. Photos are no more but live photography has taken the place. People are spending more after watching Bollywood movies. Like Naina, Bunny's Friend etc. have choreographers, DJs, foreign cuisines, drinks, designer clothes, jewellery, band instruments, event managers etc. following advice. If we look at the past, Dilwale Dulhaniya used to see a tailor in the house, a cook in the house, a social antakshari etc. instead of a music evening.

As the marriage culture changed in Bollywood, there was also a change in the social level. No one should be advised that lavish weddings should not take place. There are a large number of people who believe that marriage is to be done once in which Jalsa is to be held. Samju is young but can't make much of an impact. It is said that India's marriage market is growing at the rate of 200 percent. Currently, this market has a turnover of 3.75 lakh crores.

In the last few years, lavish weddings have taken over the wedding tradition. People have been spending indiscriminately. In every religion, marriage is the union of two people. It used to be a family function but today it has become a symbol of grand celebration. More guests, more showmanship, more dishes, more ostracism, the condition of the common man gets shorter and longer, or becomes sick.
