Talking about Delhi: Mamata scolded the officials on the stage

New Delhi: A video of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee publicly flogging a collector in a Government program has gone viral. Mamata stopped her address in the middle of the government program and irritated the officials present. Mamata announced that I brought 15,000 warm clothes and blankets for the people. Bring it all to me immediately and I will not proceed with the program until it is all brought here.

Following Mamata's orders, the officials ran. After nearly half an hour of running, Mamata stood there till the officers came with blankets and also beat the other officers. Mamata also threatened that District Collector and Block Development Officer will not fulfill their responsibility properly, otherwise I will have to take strict action.

BJP leaders say that Mamata is doing drama for publicity. If it was decided to distribute everything in their program, then why was it checked beforehand whether all the things have been brought or not?

Ceasefire between Gehlot, Pilots on Rahul's orders

Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot have finally come to a truce after the last few days of face-to-face attacks. Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot were seen at the Congress meeting held in Jaipur on Tuesday regarding Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. Of course, both of them avoided taking photos while standing nearby. National General Minister K.C. Sachin reached the meeting called by Venugopal half an hour earlier than pilot Ashok Gehlot.

Ashok Gehlot recently called Sachin Pilot a traitor. Rahul Gandhi refused to comment on the issue and termed Gehlot and Pilot as the strength of the party. Gehlot also said that it is right that Rahul Gandhi called the leaders of Rajasthan the strength of the Congress.

Congress sources claim that Rahul Gandhi has instructed both Gehlot and Pilot not to make any statement against each other. A clear order has been given by Rahul that there should not be any impression that there is a difference in the party during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan.

Rahul's Hindu card, Sashtang Dandawat in Mahakal

Rahul Gandhi, who has embarked on the 'Join India' journey, has started playing the Hindu card along with appeasing the tribals. After performing Nardani Aarti, Rahul also performed puja of Mahakal in Ujjain, the city of Mahakal. Rahul Gandhi started his speech by chanting 'Jai Mahakal' three times in Ujjain before prostrating against Mahakaleshwar.

In his 25-minute speech, Rahul talked about Hindutva many times emphasizing on 'asceticism and penance' and said that India is a country of ascetics. Ascetics are worshiped in Hinduism. They are respected. The poor, labourers, farmers, youth and small shopkeepers are the real ascetics in this country but Modi government is not doing anything for these ascetics, one or two people who worship Modi ji get everything while the real ascetics of the country are being insulted.

According to analysts, the Congress is hoping for a big political advantage as Rahul Gandhi covers both tribal and Hindutva issues in Madhya Pradesh. This is a big challenge for BJP.

Controversy over the appointment of Kripal as a judge

Controversy has arisen after the central government sent back the recommendation to appoint senior advocate Saurabh Kripal as a judge of the Delhi High Court. The central government has asked the Supreme Court collegium to reconsider the name of Saurabh Kripal. The central government has also sent back to the collegium about 20 names sent for appointment as judges of the Supreme Court.

The central government has reportedly cited foreign connections as the reason for sending back Saurabh Kripal's file. Kripal's partner, human rights activist Nicolas Germain Bachmann, is from Switzerland and has been cited as a threat to the country's security. On the other hand, supporters of same-sex relationships are of the opinion that the government does not want them as judges because of same-sex relationships.

Former Chief Justice of India B.N. Kripal's son Saurabh came into the limelight after fighting Kripal's case for abrogation of Article 377. In September 2018, the Supreme Court overturned Article 377, which outlawed homosexuality, ruling that same-sex relationships are not a crime. Consensual same-sex sexual relations are not illegal.

BJP and Center confused over Kashmiri Pandits

Jammu and Kashmir BJP president Ravinder Raina on Tuesday admitted that a group of Kashmiri Pandit government officials who have returned to Kashmir under Prime Minister Modi's rehabilitation package are living in an atmosphere of mental fear. The optimism shown by the Center about Kashmir has completely reversed this. The central government's comment is that only if a man is alive can he stick to his work. The return of Pandits, who left the Kashmir Valley after the mass killings by terrorists this year, was only possible because they were assured of security for their lives. Also, Raina has made the above comments in the backdrop of protests by Pandits who want to go back to Jammu. The Center is strongly opposed to allowing Kashmiri Pandits to settle in Jammu. Because by doing so, after the removal of special status of Kashmir in 2019, the Center's claim that Kashmir is becoming balanced again is proved to be hollow.
