Nana Amankwaah Kodom I, the chief of Adumasa, has initiated the construction of a modern Market for the Senfi community in the Bekwai Municipality.

The project, slated for completion within three months, will feature 50 lockable stores, washrooms, and a car park, serving as a replacement for the dilapidated old market.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Nana Kodom emphasized the necessity of the new market, citing the community's expansion and the need for a conducive space to conduct Economic Activities. He highlighted the pivotal role of markets in stimulating economic growth and urged residents to support the project for its timely completion.

Market women present at the event expressed gratitude to the chief for his intervention in providing a new market. They anticipated that the modern market would not only enhance convenience but also boost economic activities in the area.
