Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom gives each Nduom School of Business and Technology graduate $1,000 as 1st batch pass out

Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, founder and Chairman of the Governing board of the Nduom School of Business and Technology (NSBT), fulfilled his promise to the first students of the institution by awarding each of them $1,000 upon their graduation. The gesture was made during the school's inaugural graduation and third matriculation ceremony at their Ayensudo campus over the weekend.

The ceremony marked the graduation of NSBT's first cohort of 25 students, including eight females and 17 males, who received various honors. Additionally, 90 new students were admitted during the matriculation ceremony.

Originally intending to provide seed money to start small businesses while studying, Dr. Nduom's plan was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, he ensured that the initial eight students received the promised $1,000 cash award upon their graduation.

Addressing the graduates, Dr. Nduom urged them to invest the money wisely, emphasizing the importance of using it for productive purposes rather than transient pleasures. He also reiterated NSBT's commitment to facilitating the successful employment of all graduates, encouraging them to maintain close ties with the institution.

Dr. Nduom highlighted NSBT's dedication to providing quality education in business and technology, aiming to become a leader in these sectors. He advised the graduates on perseverance, optimism, and the value of maintaining friendships formed during their time at the school.

Rev. Prof. Daniel Adjepong Nyarko, the Rector of NSBT, highlighted the school's efforts in forming partnerships with international universities and collaborating with the Ivorian Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education and Training to improve English language proficiency for Ivorian students.

Emmanuel Newman from the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission encouraged the graduates to apply their education towards solving societal problems and securing employment, noting NSBT's potential to become a chartered, independent university.
