Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia expressed his heartfelt condolences to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, following the passing of his wife, Hajia Rahmatu. Dr. Bawumia took to his Facebook page to share his condolences, writing: “Inaa lillahi wa inaa ilayhi raji'un” (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return).

Dr. Bawumia conveyed his sadness upon learning about the passing of Hajia Rahmatu Tahwee Sheikh Sharubutu, describing her as a dear grandmother and beloved wife of the National Chief Imam. He extended his condolences to Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu and the entire family during this difficult time.

In his message, Dr. Bawumia prayed that the Almighty Allah would welcome Hajia Rahmatu into Jannatul Firdaus, the highest paradise in Islam.
