Black Stars 7 times winless with draw against Uganda

The Black Stars of Ghana faced off against Uganda's Cranes, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Jerome Opoku and Jordan Ayew found the net for Ghana, while Stephen Mukwala and Muhammad Shaban scored for Uganda in an international friendly match held at the Stade de Marrakech.

Black Stars coach Otto Addo made changes to the starting lineup following their previous loss against Nigeria, including Fatawu Issahaku and goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott. Defender Jerome Opoku, who was sent off in Ghana's last match, opened the scoring with a close-range header in the sixth Minute.

Despite Uganda equalizing through Stephen Mukwala in the 21st minute, Jordan Ayew restored Ghana's lead with a penalty seven minutes later. The Black Stars maintained their one-goal advantage going into halftime.

The second half saw both teams creating few clear-cut chances, with Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah impressing on the wings for Ghana. However, Uganda controversially levelled the score in the 83rd minute through Muhammad Shaban.

Despite a late surge from the Black Stars, Uganda's defence held firm, and the match ended in a draw.

Black Stars Starting Lineup: Joseph Wollacott (GK), Denis Odoi, Edmund Addo, Abdul Fatawu, Jordan Ayew, Ebenezer Annan, Abdul Samed Salis, Ernest Nuamah, Antoine Semenyo
