Gomoa Central Agenda 111 Hospital project, 80% completed

Construction work on the Agenda 111 Hospital project in the Gomoa Central District is advancing steadily, with 80 %of the project completed, according to Mr. Francis Obeng Acheampong, the Project Manager of ADK Consortium overseeing the project.

During a media briefing following an inspection tour of the facility at Gomoa Afransi, Mr. Acheampong, accompanied by Mr. Benjamin Kojo Otoo, the Gomoa Central District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Ernest Quarm, Gomoa Central Presiding Member (PM), and other assembly staff, revealed that only 20% of the work remains to be completed. He hinted that the project is expected to be fully completed and handed over to the government within the next three months.

The project manager commended the contractors, including China State Engineering, Top International, and Mac Don Engineering, for the quality of work done thus far. He expressed optimism that the remaining 20% , which involves finishing works, would be executed excellently. Additionally, he noted that efforts are being made to mobilize resources to the site to expedite the completion of the project.

Mr. Acheampong assured the DCE and his delegation that the contractors are committed to finishing the work within the stipulated timeframe. He highlighted the effective mechanism in place to address challenges such as theft and labor disputes, which could have otherwise impeded progress.

Addressing rumors of financial constraints causing a stall in the project, Mr. Otoo, the DCE, dismissed such claims, expressing confidence in the successful execution of the Agenda 111 Hospital Project. He anticipated that the next routine visit would showcase the remarkable progress made, providing a positive narrative for the district and the country at large.
