I have the best measures to turn fortunes of Agona West around -Yawson Otoo

Yawson Otoo, an aspiring Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Agona West, has urged delegates to vote for a candidate who can effectively lobby for economic transformation and infrastructural development in the constituency. Speaking at Nyakrom to elucidate his plans for the delegates and the constituency at large, Mr. Otoo emphasized the need for a transformational and visionary leader who can drive aggressive development agendas.

Asserting his commitment to fostering accelerated human development and infrastructural transformation, Mr. Yawson Otoo outlined his comprehensive measures aimed at bringing about economic advancement and ensuring absolute infrastructural development in Agona West. He underscored the importance of having a leader who can champion the constituency's development agenda and pledged to work tirelessly towards addressing internal party conflicts and rallying everyone for the party's interest if given the mandate.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs, Mr. Otoo highlighted critical areas such as inadequate healthcare delivery, insufficient basic school structures, and poor road networks in Agona West. He lamented the lack of a complete district hospital with essential medical personnel and voiced concern over the abandonment of construction works on vital infrastructure like the Agona Nyakrom-Breman Asikuma bridge.

As a professional engineer, Mr. Otoo assessed the risks associated with the deteriorating bridge infrastructure and warned of potential hazards, emphasizing the urgent need for repairs to avert a potential disaster. He reiterated his readiness to lead an effective campaign in Agona West NPP and urged delegates to support his candidacy during the primary elections.

Supporting Mr. Otoo's candidacy, George Prince Koranteng, his Campaign Manager, highlighted Mr. Otoo's generosity in supporting community development projects, including the construction of a community center, modern toilets, and procurement of land for a police station in Nyakrom. Mr. Koranteng emphasized the importance of voting for a candidate who prioritizes unity, credibility, and honesty over monetary influence or inducement.
