Millions found in Minister’s home could be funeral donations – NPP Communicator claims

A member of the communications team of the New Patriotic Party, Clement Wilkinson, has made an audacious and almost unbelievable claim, that the millions of Dollars and pounds found in the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources' home could be unaccounted donations she received at a recently held funeral.

“The company which received $43 million dollars to dredge the Odaw river could have given Cecilia Dapaah $2 million dollars in a funeral donation. You know until the family meets to look at the entire donation, it would not be touched. It could be the reason the money was at her home.”

The minister's domestic staff is accused of stealing $1 million dollars, 300,000 Euros, millions of Ghana cedis, and tens of thousands of cedis in jewellery and clothing.

The minister who is still in post is under pressure from the minority to resign, civil society organizations and anti-corruption organizations to resign or be sacked by the President.
