Victory Bible Church International ordains 110 ministers and church leaders

The Victory Bible Church International (VBCI) in the Central Region has ordained a total of 110 individuals, including Reverend Ministers, Elders, Pastors, Deacons, and Deaconesses, to support the church's religious mission.

The ordination ceremony took place at the Cape Coast Family Sanctuary, coinciding with the sanctuary's 36th anniversary.

The ordination comprised nine Reverend Ministers, 23 Elders, 39 Pastors, and 39 Deacons and Deaconesses from the nine branches of the Cape Coast Province.

The ordination grants these individuals the authority to preach, perform holy matrimony, conduct baptisms, and fulfil other religious duties as they contribute to the work of God in various sanctuaries.

Bishop Cornelius Adja Cofie, the Supervising Minister of VBCI, along with Bishop Richard Ampadu Duku, the Provincial Superintendent of the Central and Western Province, and other members of the church's clergy, anointed and prayed for the Newly Ordained Ministers and leaders.

The Reverend Ministers received certificates, Bibles, and anointing oil to support their work, while the other ordinands received certificates.

During the ordination service, Bishop Cofie led the newly ordained ministers and leaders in taking an oath, in which they pledged to live lives that please God and uphold the authority of the church.

They were urged to maintain actions that were above reproach, work for the spiritual welfare of church members, and adhere to the principles outlined in I Timothy 3:16.

Bishop Cofie emphasized the importance of living a life in accordance with their calling and ministry. He advised against engaging in sinful behaviours, such as alcoholism, and discouraged violence and the pursuit of money through unethical means.

The newly ordained ministers were encouraged to guide their families with exemplary values that align with their calling.

Bishop Cofie assured the ordinands of the church's support as they embarked on their respective roles, emphasizing the importance of upholding doctrine and being steadfast in their faith.
