Member representing Lafia Central Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Yakubu Akwashiki, has urged Eggon and Alago nations to continue to live in unity and co-exist peacefully for development to thrive in their communities and the State at large.

Hon. Akwashiki, who is the Chairman House Committee on Public Accounts made the call on Wednesday in Lafia when he bagged ” Award of Honour as Friend of Alago” in appreciation for his kind support to Alago youths and his positive contributions to the development of his constituency at large.
He appreciated the Alago youths for the award and promised not to let his people down.
” First and foremost, I want to appreciate God and you for this award. I am delighted and happy over this award.
” Today it is a great day that I will not forget in my life. I will continue to initiate policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of my constituents.

” I have sunk more than 22 boreholes within nine months in office, fixed transformers, registered JAMB for students, provide palliatives among others,” he said
Hon Akwashiki assured Alago youth of his support at all times.
” The mandate I am enjoying today cut across all political parties, APC, PDP, LP, SDP among others and all tribes.
” This mandate is for me to serve my people and that I shall not fail” he said.
The lawmaker pledged to sink a borehole in Akurba Osonya community of Akurba electoral ward in order to improve on their standard of living.
Akwashiki also promised to continue good and sound legislature at the House.
The lawmaker urged Alago and Eggon nation and other people of the state to continue to support Gov Abdullahi Sule administration to succeed.
Earlier, Mr Akwe Julius James, the Youth Leader, Alago Development Association(ADA) Youth Wing Worldwide said that the visit was to identify and rejoice with Hon Akwashiki on the good work he is doing for the people of Lafia Central constituency.

He, however, appealed for the provision of a borehole in Akurba Osonya community, a request Hon Akwashiki granted.
