Encounters with Illegal Aliens with suspected terror ties jumped 15% last month
(Dixie Drudge) – Apparently, none of the people in charge of our security saw that classic John Milius flick, Red Dawn. If they did they obviously weren’t paying attention to where Powers Booth explained that large numbers of infiltrators crossing the Southern border had reeked havoc during the foreign invasion that forms the plot. I guess those who refuse to learn from history (or Hollywood in this case) are doomed to repeat it.
The number of migrants with Suspected Terror Ties encountered at ports of entry increased 15% in one month, according to the latest U.S. CDP data.
According to Just the News:
“A total amount of individuals who appear on the terrorist watchlist caught at ports of entry jumped from 382 to 442 after CBP publicly released its July 2023 operational data. So far into fiscal year 2023, 70 have been caught at the southwest border and 372 have been caught at the northern border.
This represents the highest amount for this category, formally referred to as Terrorist Screening Dataset (TSDS), since fiscal year 2020.”
While this may seem like a tiny fraction of those crossing our porous borders, remember that this is a small fraction of the number that carried out the worst terror attack in American history on 9-11. Also keep in mind that this number is only those terror affiliated suspects ‘encountered.’ There is no way to know how many actually paid attention to their training or hired the better coyote and evaded capture.
We have no way of knowing the actual threat that the current administration has allowed to slip in unchallenged. Also, these numbers represent ONLY those persons that intelligence has indicated are a threat. How many more evaded that trigger by being a good operative and keeping their activities below the radar just as all the 9-11 terrorists did.
When Asked by Just the News, Alabama Republican Rep. Mike Rogers, chairman of the House Armed Services Committee replied, “While the Biden Administration conveniently avoids even thinking about the Southern border, terrorists understand fully that the border is a point of weakness for our country. Biden’s open border policy is a dangerous vulnerability for our national security, and these numbers only prove that terrorists are exploiting that weakness.”
Time will tell how badly the safety of the American people has been compromised by the negligence of the biden regime. Most likely, the results will be delayed and surface during the next GOP administration as an attempt to manipulate the maximum shock, physical, and political damage to a future administration.
