A new and exciting tourist destination has emerged opposite Tank Bund in Hyderabad. Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav unveiled the splendid Lake Front Park during a ceremony organized by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), with a budget of Rs 26.65 crore.

During the event, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav expressed his confidence that, with the effective leadership of the Chief Minister and Municipal Affairs Minister KT Rama Rao, Hyderabad will continue to prosper, contributing to the overall development of the state. Arvind Kumar, the Special Chief Secretary of MAUD and HMDA Metropolitan Commissioner revealed that Mumbai architect Kishore Pradhan was the creative mind behind the design of the lakefront park.

The Park boasts several key features, including four elevated walkways, each spanning 110 meters and featuring a Cantilever jetty (15 meters) offering breathtaking views of the lake. Additionally, a 240-meter-long Curvilinear (wave) walkway and a 690-meter-long walkway connecting all park components are major highlights. Visitors can also enjoy various architectural elements, such as pavilions, a promenade along the Hussain Sagar Lakeshore, a Panchatatva walkway, a central pathway, and underpasses.

One of the park’s unique features is a deck extending up to 15 meters over the water, designed as a cantilever. The inclusion of pergolas with seating and illuminated light sculptures at focal points enhances the park’s aesthetics and captivates public attention. The park is brilliantly illuminated with various lighting components, including bollards, decorative LED lighting, high mast lighting, navi column lighting, and neo-flex lighting, creating a captivating ambiance along the boardwalk and themed posttops throughout the area.
