KTR leads delegation to UK to attract investments to Telangana

On Wednesday, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao embarked on a tour of the United Kingdom to bring in investments to the State.

As part of the three-day tour, the Minister will meet with industrial leaders and business associations to promote Telangana’s investment-friendly environment and its impressive progress across several industries.

Furthermore, he will participate in and speak at the ‘Ideas for India conference -2023’. Business, industry, and policy leaders from the UK, Europe, and India will gather for the second edition of the ‘Ideas for India’ conference to discuss the next phase of India’s growth.

Furthermore, he will highlight the ease of doing business in Telangana and the TS IPASS initiative, which streamlines the investment process for investors.

The visit comes at a critical time for Telangana, which is looking to attract more investments and boost its economy. KTR’s efforts to demonstrate the state’s investor-friendly policies are expected to bring in good results and bring more investment to the region.

Upon landing at Heathrow Airport, London, the Minister was warmly welcomed by the NRI community.

KTR unveils poster for Mission 10X – SIGs program

The poster of T-Incubators & Accelerators Consortium of Telangana State Innovation Cell – TSIC Mission 10X-SIGs, a scaleup program for early revenue startups, was also unveiled by IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday.

TSIC, T-Hub, and RICH, in collaboration with IIIT Hyderabad, IKP, AIC-CCMB, and Ag-Hub, are leading the six-month market strategy, business development, and customer access program.

It will also help the selected cohort startups with market strategy, corporate market reviews, customer connections, and funding opportunities. Working with several incubators and accelerators in Telangana and other states, this collaborative initiative will support the startup ecosystem.

Mission 10X-SIGs is open for startups with market-fit products emerging in AgriTech, MedTech and DeepTech sectors, anchored by TSIC, T-Hub, Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) along with International Institute of Information Technology – Hyderabad (IIIT-H), IKP Knowledge Park, Atal Incubation Centre- Centre for Cellular Molecular Biology and Ag-Hub.

All shortlisted startups will be mentored for one month to review their product strategy, market approach, and corporate pitch readiness, and refine these elements to address the current business climate and constraints.
