Adani Road Transport Limited, an affiliate of Adani Enterprises, has expressed interest and reportedly running ahead in acquiring the lease of the Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad. Adani Road Transport Limited is one of 12 companies that have submitted a tender for the 30-year maintenance of the Outer Ring Road.
The lease of the Outer Ring Road is expected to produce roughly Rs 8,000 crore for the state government. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has issued a request for tenders for the lease of the 158-kilometer-long Outer Ring Road. This lease will have a 30-year term for operation, maintenance, and transfer.
The HMDA has designated a consultant for the completion of the lease. The entities interested in acquiring the lease must have to pay a tender processing fee of Rs 15 crore and a deposit of Rs 1,500 crore immediately following the tender allotment, with the remaining amount shall be paid within 120 days after awarding the contract.

Special Chief Secretary Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar stated that there has been an extraordinary response for the 30-year lease of the Outer Ring Road, with the deadline for infusion of applications set for February 16.
HMDA is getting 415 crores from Eagle Infra Company as an annual toll levy. If the Outer Ring Road is given on a 30-year lease, HMDA will get the required sum from the company, and management’s liability will be transferred from HMDA. It should be remembered that the government has been preparing for the last two years.
