Muslims should keep asking questions to leaders for a better change

Welcoming the AIMPLB appeal requesting Muslims to protect mosques by their own without counting on others, Mehmood Parach, Supreme Court Lawyer said, “The appeal, though came late, is a welcoming move. Although the call given by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) comes after heavy pressure mounted from the community, but it is a welcoming move and we have surely moved a step ahead with this clarion call.”

While talking to a news channel recently, he urged the Muslims to ratchet-up questioning their leaders and organisations for their cowardice approach to their issues.  “Muslims should continue their campaign of questioning the religious leaders, AIMPLB members and Jamaat-e-Islami besides Muslim organisations and political leaders. “The gravity of questioning the Muslim leadership should be increased as they are still not coming out of their comfort zones when it comes to issues concerning the community,” he said.

Reminding that the AIMPLB members are enjoying the coveted posts only because they are representing the Muslim community in the country, Mehmood Paracha, who himself is a member of the board, said, “All the 150 members should come forward and present themselves for court arrest at Parliament street police station so to dispel the fear of arrests, court cases and persecution tactics of the government machinery against Muslim community.

“Though there are senior figures in the AIMPLB, but if there is any issued, then I will come forward to lead present myself for court arrest,” he said adding, “We all have to stir a ‘Jail Bharo Andolan’ together with people from SC, ST and OBCs to raise voice against the persecution as their Valmiki Mandirs, Ravidas Mandirs, Gurudwaras, Churches and Bodh Vihars besides statues of Baba Saheb Ambedkar are also being demolished by the biased administration.”

When asked that the appeals are being filed against Gyanvapi Mosques in the district courts one after another and even entertained immediately with wasting a time, the Supreme Court Lawyer said, “These are all illegal moves. No court has the power to entertain such cases under article 4 of Places of Worship Act 1991. However, they are accepting it for the heck of it.”

It is only through the Jail Bharo Andolan we could change the scenario and AIMPLB, as a representative of all the minorities, should make a call to all the SCs, STs and BCs besides Muslims to stoke a campaign. Even the senior Supreme Court Judges are against the prevailing trend. The campaign surely will help boost their morals and encourage the courts to stand against what they perceive as completely ‘wrong.’

When asked what if people hit the road in-myriad and whether it helps prevent attacks on religious places of minorities especially on mosques, Mehmood Parach, an Ambedkarite assertively said, “Yes, the attacks will surely be prevented 100 percent, if not 1000 percent. We have to fight this in unison or else we will be defeated. Either we have to change the canning, unfaithful and avaricious leaders or pressurise them to join the campaign. However, the AIMPLB should take the lead and present themselves for court arrest.”

“We are readily enjoying the coveted posts,” he said , “but are harking back from stoking a campaign to protect the constitution from the onslaught of Mano Wadies. Let us first check from where they (AIMPLB Members) are getting such a huge income, from where they amassed such a huge wealth and what is their source of income?” he contended.

“I have told in the past and repeating the same at present that they (Hindu Fringe Groups) are having a list of 30,000 religious places all over the country which they want to convert into Hindu temples. Besides Mosques, number of Bodh Vihars are also in the list which are considered religious places of SCs and STs. Mano Wadies are more abominable to Bodh people then Muslims as both Islam and Bodhism speaks in volume against the untouchability which the Mano Wadies won’t accepts and want to turn India into a Hindu Rashtra,” Clarified the lawyer.

Our first aim should be to protect the country and the constitution from mano wadies and to achieve the goal we have to come forward to sacrifice ourselves in unison,” said Mehmood Paracha.
