The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory in preparation for the restoration of a damaged stormwater drain line on Amberpet Road. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be restrictions in place.

The road section between 6 Number Junction and Zinda Tilasmath junction will at Amberpet be one-way, with only vehicular traffic allowed from 6 Number Junction to Zinda Tilasmath road.

Traffic will be prohibited from the Zinda Tilasmath Junction to the 6 Number Junction.

Traffic advisory given in light of Telangana Assembly sessions

In light of the ongoing Telangana State Legislative Assembly sessions, the Hyderabad Traffic Police issued an advisory.

The advisory will be in effect until March 15 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and traffic may be stopped or diverted on an as-needed basis in the following routes.

Possible Traffic Congestion Routes: Masab Tank – PTI Building – Ayodhya – Nirankari; Telugu Thalli – Iqbal Minar – Ravindra Bharathi; VV Statue – Shadan – Nirankari – Old PS Saifabad – Ravindra Bharathi; New MLA Quarters – Basheerbagh Junction to Old PCR Junction; BJR Statue – AR Petrol pump – Old PCR Junction;  BRK Bhavan – Adarsh Nagar – Old PCR Junction; Ministers Residence Complex, Road No. 12, Banjara Hills – Virinchi Hospitals – Masab Tank; MJ Market – Taj Island – Nampally Railway Station – AR Petrol pump – Old PCR Junction; Jubilee Hills Check Post – KBR Park – LV Prasad Eye Hospital – Srinagar colony T Junction – Sagar society T Junction – NFCL – Vengal Rao Park – GVK Mall – Taj Krishna – KCP Junction – VV Statue; CTO Junction – Paradise – Ranigunj – Karbala – Children’s Park – Tank Bund – Ambedkar Statue – Telugu Thalli – Iqbal Minar – Ravindra Bharathi and Plaza Junction – Patny – Bata – Bible house – Karbala Grounds ESI Hospital – SR Nagar Metro Station – Ameerpet Metro Station – Panjagutta Junction – NIMS – VV Statue.
