Oil prices have risen for the second day running this morning [4th August 2023] after Global producers Saudi-Arabia and Russia undertake to cut output prior to the next OPEC+ meeting with the cartel not expected to change overall oil output policy. The price of Texas Intermediate crude for September rose 9 cents equivalent to 0.1%, to $81.64 with Brent crude futures for October rose 2 cents to $85.16 a barrel.
