K-pop fans are reacting to the coincidence of Blackpink Jennie’s rumored beau V and her ex bf G-Dragon attending the same concert in Seoul.

International artists’ concerts in Seoul always create a buzz in K-pop fandom, as a number of the most popular South Korean stars appear together to watch their favorites, revealing new industry bonds or age-old friendships. During Bruno Mars’ Concert on June 18, viewers spotted several stars including Blackpink’s Lisa and Jennie, G-Dragon, NCT’s Taeyong, Taeil, Jungwoo, BTS V, and more.

Fans are having a mixed reaction to both V and G-dragon attending the same concert, especially as the latter has posted ‘suggestive’ lyrics from Mars’ song in his Instagram story.

G-Dragon went to watch day 2 of Bruno Mars’ show with K-drama star Lee So Hyuk. The BigBang singer posted snippets from the concert along with the lyrics, “When I was your man!” with a heartbreak emoji.

Kim Taehyung, aka BTS V, on the other hand went to enjoy the show with his Wooga squad members including Park Seojoon and Hyungsik.

K-pop fans defend Jennie and V urging them not to ‘ship’ couple

As neither Jennie nor V has talked about their alleged relationship, fans of both idols are urging fans to respect everyone’s privacy and to not spread rumors.

One fan posted: “Taennie (Tae and Jennie) shippers starting again because Tae and Jennie were both at Bruno Mars. He stood nowhere near her and Rose was with Jennie, not to mention half the K-pop community was there too!”

Another tweet read: “It is shocking that G-dragon, V, and Jennie were legit in the same concert together!”

Many also claimed that Jennie and Taehyung were sitting next to each other along with their friends revealing a video as ‘proof.’
