Shah Rukh Khan‘s upcoming film, Jawan, has been creating a lot of buzz in the Indian film industry. The film was initially scheduled to release on June 2, 2023, but due to post-production delays, the release date was pushed. We reported this delay in month of March though few self proclaimed ‘experts’ kept the rumour alive of 2nd June release.
Yesterday again rumour floated that Jawan will release in August and most probably on 25th August. Today all day rumour mill were in overdrive for August release but again it seems that these were just rumours.

Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Jawan Will Be Janmashtami Release
However, according to the latest reports, the film has been delayed further and will now release on 7th September 2023. Shah Rukh Khan reportedly wants to take advantage of Janmashtami holiday which will fall on Wednesday/Thursday (6th or 7th September). Also there is no major release till Salaar starring Prabhas in end of September. After that at end of 2nd week, film will get benefit of Ganesh Chaturthi.
There is expectation that new teaser and poster of SRK starrer Jawan will be out in next couple of days announcing new release date.
Jawan is directed by Atlee and stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film is expected to be a commercial entertainer and has been eagerly awaited by fans of the actor. The film’s postponement has led to a reshuffling of the Indian release calendar, with several other films changing their release dates.
Also Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment has confirmed the release date of the long-awaited Fukrey 3. The comedy entertainer was supposed to arrive in theaters on September 7, 2023, during the Janmashtami weekend. The makers might postpone the release date now as SRK shares close relations with Farhan Akhtar who is producer of Fukrey 3.
