In a recent development, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has declined an offer to play the antagonist in Jr NTR’s upcoming Telugu film, tentatively titled NTR 30. The movie is currently being shot in Hyderabad with Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead opposite Jr NTR.

The offer for the antagonist’s role was reportedly quite lucrative, but Saif Ali Khan decided to decline the offer for undisclosed reasons. The role will now be played by another actor, whose name is yet to be announced.

NTR 30 is being directed by Koratala Siva, who has previously worked with Jr NTR on Janatha Garage. The film’s action sequences will be overseen by international stunt director Kenny Bates, known for his work on blockbuster movies such as Transformers and Rambo III. The music for the film is being created by Anirudh Ravichander, while DOP R Rathnavelu, art director Sabu Cyril, and editor Sreekar Prasad are also working on the project.

Director Koratala Siva has been working with his dream team on the project for more than a year and is leaving no stone unturned to make it the biggest and best film. The movie is slated to release on April 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR’s previous film, RRR, continues to make waves even a year after its release. The film, which also starred Ram Charan, won the Best Original Song award for its song ‘Naatu Naatu’ at this year’s Golden Globes and Oscars.
