Good day to all and we hope this finds everyone as well as they can be. This week turned out to be a very busy week for me and the PW Team. My sister always asks me , " Why do we do what we do ?" , and I never have a good answer for her other then , "we can". As mentally taxing as our jobs maybe, it is not about us, it is about those we help and having the strength and ability to do so. Turning off the emotional faucet and just doing the best we can to help others. Yes, I get tired and feelings of burn out , but that is when you take a step back and re-group. When my husband asks how my day was, sometimes I do not know how to answer...sometimes, I cannot answer due to a variety of reasons, and sometimes I just dont want to relive it or talk about it. I feel , why share the horriffic experiences of what I have seen or heard. They talk about first responders having trauma , but some fail to realize that our positions, sometimes we are pre-first responders that are on the scence. And, to me it is not about recognition, it is about the lack of support that mental health workers receive...So, that is my rant for today......Sterling received his first Moderna vaccine. So far, so good. We are anticipating that they will not move him until he receives his second dose. I have not heard back from the letter I sent the Governor. When the 15th is upon us, and Cheryl Strange has taken her post as the new director , the letter will be resent to all , every week until we get a response.....Sterling has filed for re-sentencing, and we are in the beginning stages of jumping through the many , many hoops. The courts are already playing their games, and since the first attorney for the appeal ripped us off and did absolutely nothing that case has been closed, so we are doing this on our own. So, everytime we have hope, we have more sh*t thrown at us to ATTEMPT to smear the hope. But, with hope is possibilities, so we focus on that....Mrs Jean Taylor, I hope you are enjoying your new arrival of THUNDER and I would love to see photos !! We hope everyone has a blessed weekend, here in Ohio, it is chilly and forecasted to rain and rain and rain. But, I will take this opportunity to finish up the paperwork for the Thuder's Bella Project. Everytime I think it is complete, I have another packet of paperwork to file, thanks to the USA's wonderful redtape system !!! Fingers crossed that this will be the final steps.
