REMEMBERING CHRISTINE

PW has been busy today and attending the belated wake for one of her angels Christine.
Christine was taken too soon back in March this year. Sadly because of the dreaded COVID19 pandemic, PW and the ladies who attend her support groups, could not be present at Christine's funeral.

Sterling and his wife Bella, knew all about Christine.
When Christine was diagnosed with lung cancer, Sterling wrote her a letter which made her day. His letter went on that final journey with her.

Over the past few weeks, Christine's ashes have been resting at PW's house.
As a special gift and tribute to Christine's daughters, the talented PW made her girls pieces of keepsake jewellery with their mother's ashes.

Please note. Permission has been given for these photographs to be published.
Christine's wake was a small gathering and because of the COVID19 lock down, and restrictions, today was the first time the ladies could get together and remember Christine.

The reason I am posting this story is because Christine captured the hearts of Sterling and his wife.
Christine was a big personality with a heart of gold. I met her a few times myself.
She was so much fun to be around.

Christine's favourite horse was Jas.
They developed a unique bond.

Christine's wake was organized on Monday. PW worked tirelessly to make sure that the girls had their mother Christine with them today.

One of the precious pieces PW made with their mothers ashes.

Sleep easy Christine. Forever in our hearts.
