Greetings and respect to my beautiful wife Bella , my family , my brothers and friends and all my supporters. Clan Wilks, Clan Gordon, and Clan MacAfee and anyone else I may have missed. I sincerely thank you all for the friendship and brotherhood. For your wonderful acceptance and support to my valkyrie and your warm wishes to my mother...I want to share a little more about my adoptive mother. A woman who has been unwavering in her love, despite all the hardship my situation has put on my wife and family. Years ago she wrapped me in her arms, looked my in the eyes and told me I was the son she always wanted and she loved me.
The bond that we share is one that I wish all kids had. She is someone who inspires me to do better as the thought of disappointing her terrifies me, and all who know me, know I am not the one who is faint of heart. I always will stand at the front of the shield wall... i go to her when I need sage wisdom as I know I can count on her advice, as she speaks from the heart and speaks the truth and is one of the kindest , most thoughtful person I have been blessed to know. I have only met very, few people in my lifetime who give far more to the world than they take and one of the things that amazes me and inspires me is she tires to do a kind , selfless deed each day for no other reason, then she wants those around her to be happy and as she says, "it costs a person nothing to do a kind act for someone. Yes I am beyond blessed to have such a wonderful mother. If this world had more mother's like her the prisons might have far fewer people locked in these cells. She is a grandmother and her grandchildren adore her. They are blessed to have the love of a whole family unit of roll models that all kids need. I have love and respect for the women they are. Strong , capable, intelligent women who work hard and make their mother proud.
My mother if one of few women in my life who inspire me to be a good man and give whatever goodness to the world.
I started this blog with the help of the QOS , Stuart and my devoted wife, without them it would not be possible to pursue the purpose I have for it. And, now with the inspiration of my Bella, mother, QOS, brothers, brother in laws, this blog will be my way to do some good. I wish this blog to evolve into to aid parents who are dealing with children who are at a crossroads to a wasted life. I want to give parents the advice I can , and the give the reality to the children to what life is like beyond the concrete walls in hope to deter them.
I want to ask all of you who read this blog, if you have any ideas , suggestions, recommendations, feedback, etc....we gladly welcome it. My Bella is the brains behind the operation, and with her knowledge , experience and expertise related to trauma, mental health and the justice system, with the QOS superior knowledge as well, I think we can make a difference in their lives and I would love to hear from you all and aide me in helping these families. It will be an honorable task to help these families and their is nothing in it for me and who wish to help me, my valkyrie, my sister the QOS, other than my family being proud of the man I slowly became with their unwavering love and support.
