Food prices sky high
Recently, a new government has been formed in the country, but even after that, the common people are not getting relief from inflation. In the past, prices of vegetables, oil, ghee, meat, eggs, pulses, sugar, etc. have increased tremendously in Pakistan.
Onion prices in Pakistan have made common people cry. According to Pakistani media, the price of onion there has reached 300 Pakistani rupees. The price of potato has increased from Rs 50 to Rs 80 per kg. Capsicum prices have doubled and increased from Rs 100 to Rs 200 per kg.
Fruit prices increased
In Pakistan, not only vegetables but also the prices of fruits have increased tremendously. Banana prices in the country have reached 200 rupees per dozen. At the same time, the price of green apple has increased from Rs 140 to Rs 200 per kg. The price of watermelon is also Rs.200 per kg instead of Rs.100. The consumption of these fruits increases in the month of Ramadan.
Prices may increase by 60 percent
According to a report, common people will not get relief from inflation even in the holy month of Ramzan. The inflation rate in Pakistan has been at 31.5 percent for a long time, while the prices of some items have increased by up to 60 percent. Experts believe that the common people of Pakistan will not get relief from this inflation at present.
