Washington: An old man of Gujarati Origin has been killed in Alabama state of America. A citizen of Gujarati origin had a hotel business and had an argument with a customer over a room. Because of this, the customer shot and killed the 76-year-old hotel owner.
Pravin Ravjibhai Patel's Hillcrest Motel was located in Sheffield. According to Police, 34-year-old William Jeremy Moore has been arrested.
According to the police officer, the accused wanted to rent a room. The young man got angry and shot Patel with his gun.
The police immediately arrested the youth who did the murder. A gun was recovered from him during his search after his arrest. Statements of the witnesses present at the scene were also taken.
The Asian American Hotel Owners Association has expressed grief over this incident. AAHOA Chairman Bharat Patel has said that such senseless acts of violence have no place in our community.
He hoped that the American police would investigate the incident and bring justice to Patel's family. It is worth mentioning that some Indians have been killed in America in recent times.
