London: Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is on a 3-day visit to England to discuss defense and industrial cooperation and other issues. He also held talks with Prime Minister Rishi Shunak, Defense Minister Grand Shaps and Foreign Minister Cameron. He also spoke about India-China relations during a program. He said that China's perspective towards India has changed after the Galwan Valley dispute became intense. However, China considers us as its competitor but we do not consider China as our competitor.
Regarding armaments, he said that India was earlier an importer but now it has become an exporter.
He further said: In 2020 there was a fight between India and China in Galwan. But the bravery shown by our soldiers has changed China's view of India. He is convinced that India is no longer weak, moreover a writer of the Chinese mouthpiece 'Global Times' wrote that, 'The Chinese government also believes that India is becoming an economic and strategic power due to the economic and strategic changes that have taken place in India. We do not consider anyone as an enemy but the world knows that India-China relations are not good but we want to have good relations with everyone.'
