In the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, the neighboring country Egypt has refused to give refuge to the people of Gaza in its country.

Egypt's Border is connected with Gaza and thousands of people from Gaza want to take refuge in Egypt to escape the war between Israel and Hamas, but Egyptian President Abdul Fateh al-Sisi has said that opening the border and giving refuge to the people of Gaza will not solve this dispute. Other countries of the world should consider solving this matter instead of advising us to open the border.

He said that if a large number of people from Gaza come to Egypt, it will create new problems. Especially the people living here can use the land of Egypt to attack Israel. We do not believe in trying to solve the Palestinian problem through military force, we do not rely on military action and we do not believe in the right of displacement of the Palestinian people. Egypt does not want a large exodus of people from the area. If this happens, a problem like West Bank-Jordan will arise. If the people of Palestine are displaced, the possibility of a separate country for them will disappear.

Egypt, however, has expressed readiness to open its borders to deliver essential goods to the people of Gaza. American President Joe Biden said that Egypt has allowed 20 trucks to pass through the Rafah border between Egypt and Gaza for humanitarian aid.

It is worth mentioning that if the people of Gaza want to get out, the Rafah border is the only way out and due to this the importance of this area has increased now. Thousands of people from Gaza have been deposited here. Who hopes that if the border opens, we will take refuge in Egypt.
