Two citizens of Sweden have been shot dead in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. The Prime Minister of Belgium has called this incident a terrorist attack.

The killers were shot and escaped on a scooter. After this massacre, the Belgian police has declared a level four Terror Alert in the capital and a level three terror alert in the rest of the country.

The incident took place before a football match between Belgium and Sweden and was immediately condemned by most European countries.

A Belgian news channel reported that a video was posted on Social Media after the killing of civilians, with the man appearing in it claiming to have carried out the attack himself, inspired by the Islamic State.

After the firing, the football match between Belgium and Sweden was also stopped halfway. The 35000 people who gathered in the stadium to watch the match were also kept in the stadium for some time. Following the firing, the players of the Swedish team were not willing to play the next match.
