A Helicopter crashed in Nepal on Saturday. The pilot was seriously injured in the accident. According to the information received, this helicopter of Manang Air was flying towards Solukhumbu but it crashed in the mountainous area of ​​Lobuche. The accident happened early this morning.

Jagannath Niroula, deputy director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, said the helicopter 9N ANJ became unbalanced while landing in Lobuche in north-eastern Nepal and Caught Fire. The helicopter took off from Lukla to Solukhumbu at 7:13 am to pick up the passengers. But the Helicopter Caught Fire after crashing during landing. Captain Prakash Kumar Sedhai, the lone occupant of the helicopter, was seriously injured in the accident.

The causes of the accident will be investigated

Gannath Niroula said that the injured pilot has been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment. The cause of the helicopter crash is not yet known. It is feared that the accident occurred due to loss of control of the helicopter. Earlier on July 11, six people were killed when a Manang Air helicopter crashed in Lamjura, Likhupik Rural Municipality of Solukhumbu District. The helicopter, with Captain Chet Bahadur Gurung and five Mexican nationals on board, lost contact on the morning of 11 July and later crashed in Chihandanda, Lajmura, which is located between Jiri and Faplu.
